Glue gun with sequential stick feed
A glue gun and a method of advancing glue sticks in a glue gun. A leading glue stick is held in a channel of a feeder assembly in an active position, and a next-in-line glue stick is positioned adjacent the active position. In response to movement of a trigger of the glue gun by a user, the feeder assembly feeding the leading glue stick in an advancing direction. Upon advancement of the leading glue stick beyond a forward end of the next-in-line glue stick, the next-in-line glue stick drops freely into the active position, and a transition from feeding the leading glue stick with the feeder assembly to feeding the next-in-line glue stick with the feeder assembly occurs exclusively by repeated trigger actuation. No other steps or actions are required to put the next-in-line glue stick into the active position upon depletion of the leading glue stick.
Dispenser assembly
A dispenser assembly includes a rod, a plunger and a stopper. The rod has a plunger receiving end with a clip receiving recess. The plunger has a rod receiving structure with a rod engaging clip biased to fit to the clip receiving recess of the rod for movement therewith. The stopper has a plunger receiving space that defines an aperture extending through the plunger receiving space with the rod extending through the aperture. The plunger receiving space is dimensioned such that with the rod receiving structure of the plunger located within the plunger receiving space, movement of the rod engaging clip is restricted by contact with surfaces of the plunger receiving space preventing release of the rod from the plunger.
REFILLABLE MASTIC CARTRIDGE, DISPENSER, FILLING STATION AND SYSTEM COMPRISING A MASTIC CARTRIDGE, A DISPENSER AND A FILLING STATION, AS WELL AS CARTRIDGE AND CONNECTOR FOR A CARTRIDGE
A refillable mastic cartridge for a mastic medium to be dispensed includes a rigid head part having a dispensing outlet, and a mastic cartridge chamber configured to store a component of the mastic medium to be dispensed from the mastic cartridge via the dispensing outlet.
COMMON HEAD HAVING AN OFFSET PARTITION FOR USE WITH MULTI-COMPONENT DISPENSING TOOLS AND A TUBULAR LINER ARRANGED FOR LOCATING WITHIN THE COMMON HEAD
A common head for use in combination with a cartridge assembly, the cartridge assembly being retained within the material containment unit of a dispensing device and arranged to discharge reactive components from larger and smaller cartridges in response to actuation of the dispensing device. The common head includes inlet openings and a rigid walled tube having a partition positioned therein to define larger and smaller pathways to enable passage of the reactive components from the cartridges into and though the common head in a predetermined volumetric ratio and prevent backflow of the components which can lead to unintended curing prior to dispensing. A flexible liner arranged for positioning within one or both pathways of the rigid walled tube is also provided to prevent such backflow and unintended curing prior to dispensing.
Head part for a cartridge and cartridge
A head part for a cartridge is provided for interacting with a dispensing device. The head part has a first receiving region for interacting with a first container and a second receiving region for interacting with a second container. The first receiving region is connected to a first channel and the second receiving region is connected to a second channel which is separated from the first channel at least in regions. A control device is arranged in at least one of the channels for controlling a volume flow of a composition guided through the corresponding channel. A cartridge for a dispensing device has such a head part.
CAULKING GUN
A caulking gun for dispensing viscous material does not have any freeloop. A brake device is in the first and in the second position inclined relative to the axis of the push rod and a release device pushes the brake device in a third, essentially perpendicular position relative to the axis of the push rod in order to disengage the push rod from the brake device for pulling back the push rod and for acting simultaneously on the push device in order to disengage the push rod. Because the brake device is inclined in the first and in the second position due to the action of a spring acting on one end of the brake device and clamps the rod so that any freeloop (because the brake device does not clamp the rod in the upright position) is avoided.
CARTRIDGE FOR VISCOUS-MATERIAL DISPENSER
A cartridge usable in a viscous-material dispenser includes a cylinder, a plunger in the cylinder, and a plurality of ribs extending radially from an outer surface of the plunger to an inner surface of the cylinder. The ribs are circumferentially separated by a plurality of clearances, and the ribs and the clearances extend in an axial direction. Each of the plurality of clearances is defined by two adjacent ribs. The ribs and clearances are configured to allow the venting of gas through the clearances during a beginning of a cartridge filling operation and to impede the movement of the viscous material through the clearances during a remainder of the cartridge filling operation such that, at an end of the cartridge filling operation, the ribs and bodies of the viscous material in the clearances form an airtight seal between the plunger and the cylinder.
GLUE GUN DEVICE
A glue gun device includes a barrel for receiving a fluid material therein, an outer casing connected with a driving end of the barrel to receive a driving unit, a pressing unit disposed in the barrel and including a pressing member that is movable to expel the fluid material out of a nozzle end, and a transmission chain that is connected to the pressing member to be operable to move the pressing member. The transmission chain is configured to extend from a leading end rearwardly, be deflected downwardly at the driving end, and extend forwardly to terminate at a trailing end to define a chain moving track along an extension path of the transmission chain. A drive transmission unit is disposed at the driving end to transmit a drive from the driving unit to the transmission chain to move the transmission chain along the chain moving track.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR DISPENSING FLUIDS AND WIPING SURFACES
The disclosure herein provides devices and methods for dispensing fluids and wiping surfaces. A cleaning device comprises a housing comprising an outer housing portion and an inner housing portion, the outer housing portion configured to be grasped and manipulated by a user; a dispenser comprising a porous or fluid permeable material, the dispenser positioned at least partially within a dispenser cavity of the inner housing portion; and a wiper comprising a wiping surface, wherein at least a portion of the wiper is positioned within a wiper cavity of the outer housing portion.
CONDIMENT DISPENSING DEVICE
A condiment dispensing device is provided that, when activated by a user, may expel a condiment from a condiment cartridge secured within the condiment dispensing device. The condiment dispensing device includes a recess at its bottom portion in which a dampener member may be secured. When the dampener member is secured in the recess, the bottom portion of the dispensing device is flat, which results in the device being orientation within a holder in a consistent and predictable fashion. Because the dampener member may be made of a rubber or soft plastic, when the condiment dispensing device is placed in the holder, substantially less impact and noise are created than if the dispensing device were construed entirely made of metal.
