Applicator system for extrusive dispensing of work material from collapsible cartridge
An applicator system for extrusive dispensing of work material from a flexible pre-charged portion of a cartridge unit is provided. The system comprises a body portion having an actuator and a housing coupled thereto. The housing includes a cartridge bay and an arresting member displaceably coupled thereto. The cartridge bay is configured to receive the cartridge unit and defines at least one containment compartment for receiving the pre-charged cartridge. The arresting member is displaceable between open and closed configurations for releasably retaining the cartridge unit. The actuator, coupled to the housing in communication with the cartridge bay, includes a drive member engaging the pre-charged cartridge within the containment compartment. The body includes a handle and an activation member coupled thereto. The activation member is coupled to the actuator to selectively activate displacement of the drive member within the containment compartment responsive to user manipulation thereby compressing the pre-charged cartridge therein.
Food dispenser
The food dispenser is a configured for use with a viscous foodstuff. The food dispenser is an extrusion device. The food dispenser extrudes the viscous foodstuff. The food dispenser is a temperature controlled device. The food dispenser maintains the viscous foodstuff at a set temperature during the extrusion of the viscous foodstuff. The food dispenser comprises a piping gun, a heating element, and a thermal control. The piping gun contains and extrudes the viscous foodstuff. The heating element heats the viscous foodstuff contained within the piping gun. The thermal control turns the heating element on and off to control the temperature of the viscous foodstuff during extrusion.
Extensible Adhesive Dispensing Gun System
An extensible adhesive dispensing gun system. A syringe has a piston for urging an adhesive out of a nozzle, and a first mount at a back end of the syringe. A gun body contains a mechanism for advancing a plunger from a front end of the body in response to a trigger, and a second mount is disposed on the front end. An extension tube assembly includes an outer tube having near and far end adapters. A third mount on the near end adapter engages the second mount on the gun body, and a fourth mount on the far end adapter engages the first mount on the syringe. An inner rod member is arranged inside the outer tube. When the gun plunger is urged against a back end of the rod member, a leading end of the member forces the syringe piston to urge the adhesive out of the nozzle.
Dual fluid cartridge assembly
A dual fluid cartridge assembly includes a cartridge, a flange, and a piston tube. The cartridge defines a channel and includes an flange. The flange defines a cavity that extends from a cavity opening to a cavity base. The cavity opening is positioned within the channel of the cartridge, and the cavity base is positioned external to the cartridge. The piston tube has an extended end, and is positioned at least partially within the channel. The extended end is positioned within the cavity.
Caulking cannon
A caulking cannon having a motorized plunger-moving component configured to drive a plunger shaft along an axis that is substantially parallel to a caulking-cannon longitudinal axis; a cartridge-holding barrel component coupled to the motorized plunger-moving component; a handle coupled to the cartridge-holding barrel component; a caulk exit-port component coupled to the cartridge-holding barrel component; wherein the plunger shaft is configured to move in a first direction parallel to a caulking-cannon longitudinal axis and thereby enter into a volume of space within the cartridge-holding barrel component; wherein the cartridge-holding barrel component is configured to hold a caulk cartridge having a fluid-chamber volume of at least three-fourths of a gallon; wherein the motorized plunger-moving component has a hand grip; and wherein the caulk exit-port component is configured to channel caulk fluid flow from the caulk cartridge to an exit orifice.
CARTRIDGE FOR VISCOUS-MATERIAL DISPENSER
A cartridge for a viscous-material dispenser includes a cylinder and a plunger axially slidably fitted in the cylinder and dividing the cylinder into a filling chamber and a pressurizing chamber and includes a plurality of solid spacers in an annular gap between the plunger and the cylinder for maintaining a minimum spacing between the plunger and the cylinder. The spacers at least partially define a plurality of passages that fluidically connect the filling and pressurizing chambers and are configured such that a first portion of the viscous material extending from the filling chamber into the plurality of passages forms a seal together with the solid spacers to prevent a second portion of the viscous material located in the filling chamber from entering the plurality of passages.
Storage and mixing system for pasty cement components and method therefor
A storage and mixing system for pasty two-component polymethyl methacrylate bone cements comprises a tubular cartridge having a cylindrical inner chamber, a dispensing plunger that is axially displaceable in the inner chamber of the cartridge, a partition disposed axially in the tubular cartridge, and a cartridge head which closes one end of the tubular cartridge. The cartridge head has a slot-shaped opening, wherein the partition protrudes from the inner chamber of the cartridge through the slot-shaped opening of the cartridge head, wherein the partition divides the cylindrical inner chamber of the cartridge bounded by the dispensing plunger and the cartridge head into two cavities that are spatially separated from one another. A first pasty cement component is present in the first cavity and a second pasty cement component is present in the separate second cavity, wherein the partition is removable through the slot-shaped opening of the cartridge head so that the two separate cavities are connected to one another after the partition is removed.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR IMPROVED DISPENSING CONTROL DURING PLACEMENT OF VISCOUS MATERIAL
A resiliently deformable member for use in an apparatus for dispensing a viscous material from a container, such as an apparatus consisting of a container for holding the viscous material and a dispensing gun. The resiliently deformable member has a relaxed state and a compressed state. In use, the resiliently deformable member applies a force between the container and the dispensing gun to modulate the flow of the material from the container.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING A LIQUID
A method, computer program product, and apparatus for receiving, at a fluid dispensing apparatus, a control signal, wherein the control signal may be received from a base station, wherein the control signal, when received, may cause the fluid dispensing apparatus to perform operations. The operations may include generating a positive pressure within a fluid cartridge of the fluid dispensing apparatus by adjusting, via a motor of the fluid dispensing apparatus, a drive rod and piston of the fluid dispensing apparatus in a first direction relative to the fluid cartridge to dispense fluid in the fluid cartridge via a nozzle of the fluid dispensing apparatus. The operations may include generating a negative pressure within the fluid cartridge by adjusting, via the motor, the drive rod and piston in a second direction relative to the fluid cartridge to draw fluid into the fluid cartridge via the nozzle.
APPLICATOR FOR EJECTING DOSES OF A FLOWABLE COMPONENT
An applicator for ejecting doses of a flowable component includes a housing, an application tip connected to the housing, an actuation mechanism, and an insert which is detachable from the housing. The insert is adapted to be inserted into the housing, and has a storage volume for the flowable component. The housing includes a receiving portion adapted to the insert. The insert includes a drive portion which is adapted to cooperate with the actuation mechanism so that the operation of the actuation mechanism results in a displacement of the insert relative to the housing and on a displacement axis.
