A storage and mixing system for pasty two-component polymethyl methacrylate bone cements comprises a tubular cartridge having a cylindrical inner chamber, a dispensing plunger that is axially displaceable in the inner chamber of the cartridge, a partition disposed axially in the tubular cartridge, and a cartridge head which closes one end of the tubular cartridge. The cartridge head has a slot-shaped opening, wherein the partition protrudes from the inner chamber of the cartridge through the slot-shaped opening of the cartridge head, wherein the partition divides the cylindrical inner chamber of the cartridge bounded by the dispensing plunger and the cartridge head into two cavities that are spatially separated from one another. A first pasty cement component is present in the first cavity and a second pasty cement component is present in the separate second cavity, wherein the partition is removable through the slot-shaped opening of the cartridge head so that the two separate cavities are connected to one another after the partition is removed.

Handheld fluid applicator

An applicator for introducing a fluid to a plant includes a first arm and a second arm pivotally connected to one another at one end. The other ends are spaced apart to receive the plant therein when the applicator is in a rest position and are driven together upon pivoting of the arms to place the applicator in an application position. A fluid injector is mounted on the first arm and includes an injector body and a diaphragm defining a plurality of channels. The diaphragm includes a pliable dome defining a reservoir to receive the fluid and a plurality of applicator nodes. A respective applicator node is positioned near a terminus of each channel. A driving member engages the pliable dome when the applicator is pivoted to the application position. The pliable dome is then compressed by the driving member to direct the fluid through the plurality of channels.

Smoothening pad for an applicator for sealants

A construction of a smoothening pad for an applicator where, in order to make the smoothening pad more resistant to wear, a more rigid silicone is used for forming it and a bolster made of a softer polymer is provided in the front portion of the smoothening pad so as to make the front portion and the face of the smoothening pad more elastic, wherein the bolster is covered with a layer of a polymer that is more rigid than the material used for forming the body, or alternatively, a gap or chambers are formed in the front portion that in turn may be divided into sub-chambers by partitions. This way, the smoothening pad is provided with a face, that has the required degree of elasticity but is more resistant to wear.

PISTON, CARTRIDGE, DISPENSER

A piston for a support sleeve of a dispensing assembly, the piston has a substantially cylindrical outer shape and includes a piston body as well as first and second film bag retainers arranged at opposite sides of the piston body.

CAULKING GUN

The invention concerns a caulking gun for dispensing material comprising a stock, a cartridge keep, a push rod longitudinally moveably mounted in the stock provided at its one end with a plunger which engages the piston of a cartridge placed in the cartridge keep, a catch member placed on the push rod, a trigger coupled to the catch member via an axle and pivoting about a pivot point, means for varying the thrust output exerted on the push rod when pressing the trigger for a given strength exerted on the trigger, wherein the means for modifying the thrust output allow the displacement of the axle between at least a first position and a second position.

In order to provide a caulking gun which allows in a simple way to vary the thrust output either between fixed values or continuously, the trigger is provided on its upper part with a trigger bridge in which two long holes are provided and the means for varying the thrust output comprise a ratio bridge element which is put over the trigger bridge and trigger and which is linked to the trigger bridge via the axle which traverses the two long holes.

By displacing the axle either between fixed values or continuously, the thrust output can be varied between fixed values or continuously.

Lightweight modular applicator system for extrusive dispensing of work material having onboard stowage of accessory tools
