Curable material dispensing system and methods of operating and packaging the same
A system (30) for dispensing curable material. A lead screw (62) is rotatably fixed relative to a first control surface (60) and includes external threads (94). A locking nut (90) includes internal threads (92) threadably engaging the external threads. An engagement feature (98) of the locking nut is adapted to be selectively engaged with an actuator (120) having a second control surface (122). The threads provide for rotation of the locking nut about a translation axis when the actuator is in a disengaged position. Rotation of the locking nut permits the lead screw to move proximally along the axis and the compressed curable material to at least partially decompress within a dispensing volume. The threads further provide for distal advancement of the lead screw along the axis when the actuator is in an engaged position rotatably fixing the locking nut about the axis. Methods for operating and packaging the curable material dispensing system are also described.
Electric glue gun and control method for the same
An electric glue gun includes a housing, a motor supported by the housing, a bracket which extends from the housing for supporting a glue cartridge, a pushing mechanism, supported by the housing and connected to the motor, comprising a drive rod wherein the pushing mechanism is driven by the motor to enable the drive rod to squeeze glue out of the glue cartridge, and a controller configured to control the motor to enable the drive rod to return by a preset distance after the motor stops driving the drive rod forward or after the drive rod reaches a limited position.
PREPARATION STATION FOR A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT
A station for covering a bread roll half of a bread roll with a sauce in a preparation line of a fast food restaurant, comprising: a table by which a user standing at a front side can cover a bread roll half with sauce, a container comprising the sauce and arranged over the table at a working distance from the front side and from which an outlet nozzle oriented towards the table protrudes at a vertical distance from the table, so that the bread roll half which is to be covered with sauce can be placed on the table below the outlet nozzle, and a pressure actuator that can be actuated by the user and which is designed to dispense the sauce from the container onto the bread roll half when actuated by the user.
Reversible Caulk Dispenser
A reversible and reusable caulk dispenser for use with a caulk gun. The caulk dispenser has a tubular cartridge with a plunger inside the cartridge near a first open end of the cartridge and an end cap with a nozzle that can be attached at an open second end of the cartridge. A foil packet of caulk or sealant material is inserted in the cartridge of the dispenser. A closed end of the packet is positioned adjacent the plunger while an open end of the packet is at the end of the cartridge where the end cap is attached. The dispenser is used in a standard caulk gun and the caulk material expelled through the nozzle as the caulk gun is operated. When the packet is emptied the dispenser can be reused with a new packet inserted and the end cap attached now to the opposite end of the cartridge.
HANDHELD DEVICE, METHOD AND ATTACHMENT DEVICE
A handheld device, in particular a cartridge press and/or tubular bag press, for dispensing filling material into a joint, including: a handle assembly for manually gripping the handheld device and for moving the handheld device along a joint path, a dispensing device for dispensing the filling material into the joint, and a sensor device which is designed to detect an influencing quantity. The influencing quantity influences the body geometry of a filling material body formed by the filling material dispensed into the joint, in which the handheld device is adapted to adjust a dispensing rate (r) at which the dispensing device dispenses the filling material based on the detected influence quantity.
Cutter
A cutter and a caulking gun having the same are provided. The cutter is configured to be connected to a caulking gun having a connecting member which is disposed on the caulking gun and includes a first assembling portion. The cutter includes a main body including a base and a cutting portion connected with the base, the cutting portion includes a cutting blade, and the base includes a second assembling portion configured to be detachably connected with the first assembling portion.
Dispensing control system, method of controlling a dispensing device and computer program
A dispensing control system includes a dispensing device and a remote device. The dispensing device includes a dispenser configured to dispense material from a cartridge disposed in the dispensing device, a first receiver configured to receive information related to the cartridge, a transmitter configured to transmit the information related to the cartridge, and an electronic controller configured to cause the transmitter of the dispensing device to transmit the information related to the cartridge. The remote device includes an electronic controller, a receiver and a transmitter, the receiver of the remote device is configured to receive the information related to the cartridge, the controller of the remote device is configured to monitor the information related to the cartridge and to cause the transmitter of the remote device to transmit the information related to the cartridge to a remote server.
Roof coating applicator
A disposable roof coating applicator includes a nozzle that is attached to a collar. The nozzle and collar are selectively attachable to a body that has an interior space and is formed by at least one side wall having an exterior wall and an interior wall. The coating applicator also includes a plunger that is movably disposed within the interior space of the body. The coating applicator may include a locking mechanism about the applicator's collar that selectively engages a stud provided on the body's exterior surface, selectively locking and unlocking the nozzle and collar assembly to the body. The disposable roof coating applicator is configured and otherwise designed to take in, store and transport approximately ½ to 2 gallons of viscous material to a roof seam before neatly and uniformly expelling the viscous material to the seam or joint.
Curable Material Dispensing System And Methods Of Operating And Packaging The Same
A system for dispensing curable material. A lead screw is rotatably fixed relative to a first control surface and includes external threads. A locking nut includes internal threads threadably engaging the external threads. An engagement feature of the locking nut is adapted to be selectively engaged with an actuator having a second control surface. The threads provide for rotation of the locking nut about a translation axis when the actuator is in a disengaged position. Rotation of the locking nut permits the lead screw to move proximally along the axis and the compressed curable material to at least partially decompress within a dispensing volume.
