EXTENSION PAINT SPRAY-ROLLER SYSTEM
An extension paint spray-roller system includes a hydraulic paint spray extension system to which is mounted a paint roller system for use in combination. The hydraulic paint spray extension system includes an on-off control valve/handle communicating with a source of high pressure paint and connected via a straight-through swivel joint to a pole extension having a spray tip mounted at the oppositive end. A paint roller system is mounted to the paint spray extension system by a mounting system which permits a commercially available off-the-shelf paint roller to be utilized with the system.
Multipurpose frame system
A multipurpose frame system providing a Y-shaped frame with angular bend attached to a U-shaped frame capable of receiving and securing a functional system, such as, for example in one embodiment, a cylindrical roller for receiving and securing a paint roller pad, and functional system separately capable of being fully disconnected.
Rotary Applicator Devices for Applying a Material to a Surface
A rotary applicator device comprises a handle member having a longitudinal axis, and an elongate member rotatably interfaced with the handle member. The elongate member comprises an applicator attachment portion. An applicator is removably coupled to the applicator attachment portion and is comprised of an absorbent material configured to absorb a material, such as paint, stain, or adhesive. The elongate member and the applicator are operable to rotate about the longitudinal axis while the handle member is moved in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis, thereby facilitating deposit of a portion of the material from the applicator onto a surface while the applicator rotates along the surface.
Phillips smart edge
The Phillips Smart Edge is a paint application tool with guide means, made of synthetic material and is used for painting in any standard room corner for edging and trimming. The Phillips Smart Edge is used in corners of walls and intersecting surfaces. Projecting outward from parallel (FIG. 2) depending bars, Metal Bars receive the ends of the roller. Preferably the application surface of the roller is arched or triangular in shape. Standard walls which converge toward each other will be able to be coated with this device. The paint is applied to the surface rapidly and efficiently with the Phillips Smart Edge.
HAND TOOLS HAVING A PROTECTIVE HAND GUARD
Hand tools having a hand guard for protecting a user's working hand are provided. In one embodiment, the hand tool may be a paint roller that includes a roller assembly having a proximal end and an opposite distal end, and a hand guard attached to the roller assembly. The roller assembly may include a handle portion extending from the proximal end of the roller assembly, and a support portion extending from the distal end of the roller assembly to the handle portion. The support portion may include a support arm assembly attached to the handle portion and a cover support positioned at the distal end of the roller assembly and rotatably attached to the support arm assembly. The hand guard may be positioned over a top surface of the handle portion and may include a plurality of walls defining an interior space configured to receive a user's hand therein.
MODULAR SPRAY ROLLER SYSTEM
A spray roller system for application of architectural paints coating, includes an extension tube, a spray head mounted on a distal end of the extension tube, and the in-line valve with a trigger mounted on a proximal end of the extension tube, and a roller handle removable mounted on the extension tube adjacent the spray head. The spray roller system can spray and back roll a coating on a down stroke and roll on each up stroke. When the roller handle is removed from the extension tube, it can be used to hand roll sensitive wall areas. With the roller handle removed, extension tube, spray head, and in-line valve can be used as a spray extension to apply coatings in hard to reach areas.
PAINT ROLLER FRAME AND CAGE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING
A paint roller frame and cage assembly and method of manufacturing includes providing an assembly having a handle and a shaft extending from the handle, and forming a unitary cage having a radially outward surface for supporting a roller cover. The cage includes a first cavity located at an end of the cage proximate the handle and a second cavity located at an opposite end of the cage. Each cavity is defined within the radially outward surface and has a radially opening slot. A cover retainer is receivable through a first slot and into the first cavity. The cover retainer includes radially extending fingers that extend through the slot to engage an inner diameter of the roller cover and secure the cover to the cage. A fastener is receivable through a second slot and into the second cavity to hold the cage on the shaft.
Hand tools having a protective hand guard
Hand tools having a hand guard for protecting a user's working hand. In one embodiment, the hand tool may be a hand rake that includes a rake body having a proximal end and an opposite distal end and including a handle portion and a rake portion. The handle portion may extend from the proximal end of the rake body and include a finger opening configured to receive a user's fingers therethrough. The rake portion may extend from the distal end of the rake body to the handle portion and include a plurality of tines. A hand guard may be attached to the rake body and positioned over a top surface of the handle portion and may include a plurality of walls defining an interior space configured to receive the user's hand therein. In other embodiments, the hand tool may be a grabber or a paint roller.
