The housing includes first, second and third handle portions that cooperate to define a handle opening, wherein the first handle portion defines a first axis, the second handle portion defines a second axis and the third handle portion defines a third axis, and wherein the first, second and third axes cooperate to form a triangle.
Percussive therapy device with variable amplitude
A percussive therapy device that includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to provide reciprocating motion in response to activation of the motor, and a massage attachment secured to a distal end of the push rod assembly. The reciprocating motion of the push rod assembly has a user-adjustable amplitude.
HOUSING APPARATUS OF A RECHARGEABLE PHYSIOTHERAPY INSTRUMENT
A housing apparatus of a rechargeable physiotherapy instrument, that has a shape of a rounded rectangular prism, is disclosed comprising a back plate that has a shape of a rounded rectangular prism without a top plate, and whose one end comprises a first output interface opening, charging interface opening, a second output interface opening, a first baffle plate, a second baffle plate, a first box-like structure, a second box-like structure, a first spring, and a second spring. The first box-like structure further comprises a first wall and a second wall opposite one another. The second box-like structure further comprises a first wall and a second wall opposite one another.
BACKUP METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SPA SYSTEM THERMAL MANAGEMENT
Spa systems may be used all year round and in colder weather provide an enjoyable experience for users through the cold ambient outdoor temperature and the heated water of the spa. However, failures in respect of the water circulating pump and/or heater of the spa system either mechanically, electrically or through overall power outages mean the water in the spa system and its pipework can easily freeze if ambient conditions are cold enough leading to cracks in the spa system or pipes and hence leaks when the water thaws requiring costly repair or replacement of components or entire systems. Accordingly, a freeze protection system is provided that uses a backup thermal management system discretely or in combination with other backup systems. These freeze protection systems offering backup when mechanical failures, electrical failures etc. arise by providing thermal input to the spa system through alternate thermal paths and providing alarms.
SUSPENDED MOXIBUSTION DEVICE
A suspended moxibustion device including a mounting base, a suspended moxibustion head, a motor, a link lever and a crank. The mounting base includes a first and second mounting positions. The suspended moxibustion head includes a suspended moxibustion body with a mounting piece for mounting a moxa stick and is rotatably connected to the first mounting position. The motor is connected to one end of the suspended moxibustion head away from the suspended moxibustion body, and an output shaft of the motor is parallel to a rotating axis of the suspended moxibustion head. One end of the link lever away from the motor is rotatably connected to the second mounting position. The crank is perpendicular to the output shaft, one end of the crank is connected with the output shaft, and another end of the crank is rotationally connected to one end of the link lever close to the motor.
Massage Device With Optimized Automatic Operating Mode
A massage device includes a first selection interface configured to allow a user to select an automatic or manual operating mode of the device, the automatic operating mode providing a treatment cycle for the area to be massage; a second selection interface configured to allow a user to select a parameter related to the automatic operation mode of the device and representative of a massage setting; a massage head including at least one massage element configured to come into contact with the area to be massaged; and an actuator enabling activation of said at least one massage element. The device further includes a controller configured to automatically select a first mode or a second mode of operation of the automatic operation of the device, depending on the user-selected setting, wherein the first mode and the second mode are each associated with a particular operation of the actuator.
SOFT ACTUATOR, ARTIFICIAL MUSCLE INCLUDING THE SAME AND ARTIFICIAL MUSCLE DRIVING METHOD USING THE SAME
Provided is a soft actuator. The soft actuator includes a first support body, a second support body spaced apart from the first support body in a first direction, a yarn structure having one end coupled to the first support body and the other end coupled to the second support body, and a light source part spaced apart from the yarn structure in a second direction crossing the first direction. The yarn structure includes a polymer layer having a coil spring shape extending in the first direction and a light absorption layer configured to surround an outer surface of the polymer layer.
Percussive massage device and method of use
A percussive massage device that includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, and a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor. The housing includes first, second and third handle portions that cooperate to define a handle opening, wherein the first handle portion defines a first axis, the second handle portion defines a second axis and the third handle portion defines a third axis, and wherein the first, second and third axes cooperate to form a triangle.
MOTION ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
A motion assistance apparatus includes a force transmitting frame configured to support a distal part of a user, a slider configured to slide in the force transmitting frame, and a driving frame connected to the slider and configured to slide with respect to a proximal part of the user.
Apparatus and method for promoting shallow breathing of a patient
An apparatus for promoting shallow breathing of a patient includes a paddle, a belt, and a bladder. The paddle may be configured to contact the body of the patient. The belt may be configured to secure the paddle against the body of the patient. Finally, the bladder may be interposed between the belt and the paddle in the installed condition, such that inflating the bladder urges the paddle toward the body of the patient so as to apply pressure to the abdomen of the patient. A method of promoting shallow breathing is also provided that includes attaching a paddle and a bladder to a belt, such that the bladder is between the paddle and the belt, positioning the paddle on the patient, and inflating the bladder to urge the paddle toward the body of the patient such that the paddle applies pressure to the abdomen of the patient.
