Walking assitant robot
A walking assistant robot, comprising a main frame body (1), a foot walking mechanism for alternating walking, an auxiliary device (2) and a control device; the walking mechanism, the auxiliary device (2) and the control device are all disposed on the main frame body (1); the control device is connected with the walking mechanism; the auxiliary device (2) includes auxiliary feet (201), and the auxiliary feet (201) are disposed in front of and/or behind the walking mechanism along the walking direction. The foot walking mechanism is used to realize the basic function of the robot walking forward; auxiliary feet (201) are disposed in the walking direction such that the walking mechanism still has, at the moment of foot alternation, multiple supporting points in contact with the ground. Therefore, the mechanism is slip-and-fall-resistant, stable and reliable and guarantees the user safety.
MEDIAL UNILATERAL EXOSKELETON
A one-sided exoskeleton for placement in the center of a body of a person. The exoskeleton has a medial hip joint that includes hip plates and hip pulleys, a plurality of actuation cables, orthoses suitable for a right and a left lower limb of a person. Each of the orthoses comprising an ankle joint having a replaceable stirrup with a shoe or a shoe insert, a stirrup coupling, an ankle joint body and a guide pulley. Each of the hip pulleys is coupled to a respective ankle joint by at least one actuation cable of the plurality of actuation cables so that each actuation cable is on one end attached to one of the hip pulleys and on a second end attached to the stirrup coupling of the respective ankle joint. Each of the actuation cables is configured to convey a movement of the hip pulley to the respective ankle joint and cause a pivot of the respective replaceable stirrup in a first direction.
Backup methods and systems for spa system thermal management
Spa systems may be used all year round and in colder weather provide an enjoyable experience for users through the cold ambient outdoor temperature and the heated water of the spa. However, failures in respect of the water circulating pump and/or heater of the spa system either mechanically, electrically or through overall power outages mean the water in the spa system and its pipework can easily freeze if ambient conditions are cold enough leading to cracks in the spa system or pipes and hence leaks when the water thaws requiring costly repair or replacement of components or entire systems. Accordingly, a freeze protection system is provided that uses a backup thermal management system discretely or in combination with other backup systems. These freeze protection systems offering backup when mechanical failures, electrical failures etc. arise by providing thermal input to the spa system through alternate thermal paths and providing alarms.
Sprocket drive mechanism of massage device
A sprocket transmission mechanism of a massage device contains: a driven box, a pair of hollow holders, and two bendable chains. The driven box is driven by two drive shafts of a motor beside the driven box. The pair of hollow holders are rotatably connected with the two drive shafts respectively and have two grooves, and the pair of hollow holders are connected inside two inner sides of a chair or a bed respectively. The two bendable chains are accommodated in the two grooves individually. The two drive shafts have four sprockets fitted on two sides thereof individually, and two driven sprockets are rotatably connected between the two sides of the two shafts respectively, such that the two bendable chains are inserted into the pair of hollow holders to mesh with and to drive the four sprockets and the two driven sprockets to rotate individually.
Controlled trajectory and oscillation system delivering pendular movement over the geometry of the system's structure
The invention refers to a system of a plurality of pendulums with controlled oscillation and trajectory which delivers the oscillatory movement in the upper part of its geometry, where it is recovered and transferred to the desired object, be it a chair, a crib or a bed, and since this motion is transferred or projected from below, does not need suspension points external to the system or to the object for it to experience a stable and safe oscillatory motion.
DOOR COMPONENT AND METHOD
A door component for pivoting a movable door of a motor vehicle has a drive with an electric drive motor in order to influence a pivoting of the door between a closed setting and an open setting. A position measure for an angular setting of the door leaf and a speed parameter for an angular speed of the door leaf are detected by a position sensor. During a pivoting of the door leaf with the speed parameter, an electrical setpoint current intensity for the electric drive motor is ascertained, and an associated setpoint voltage is set. Then the current intensity flowing through the drive motor is ascertained. The setpoint voltage is increased if the current intensity is lower than the electrical setpoint current intensity, and the setpoint voltage is decreased if the current intensity is higher than the electrical setpoint current intensity.
Motorized recumbent therapeutic and exercise device
A device for therapy or exercise includes a frame, a base at least partially supporting and extending from the frame, a user support moveably coupled to the base and positioned adjacent the frame, a foot crank system coupled to the frame, a hand crank system coupled to the frame, and a motor coupled to at least one of the foot crank system and the hand crank system. The motor selectively powers the foot crank system and the hand crank system and is operable in an active mode and a passive mode.
Frame assembly and motion assistance apparatus including the same
A frame assembly includes a first longitudinal member, a second longitudinal member spaced apart from the first longitudinal member, and a plurality of distance maintaining members connected between the first longitudinal member and the second longitudinal member, and configured to maintain a distance between the first longitudinal member and the second longitudinal member.
Exoskeletal body support system
Some implementations can include a mechanical passive exoskeleton for the support, endurance, and physical health of laboring workers, operators with reduced strength in extremities, and operators in need of assist when rising to a standing position. The exoskeleton can assist in bending, crouching, lifting, and other repetitive motions via resistance within the flex chain and flex cartridge assemblies and lumbar support from the resistive nested spinal assembly.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROMOTING SHALLOW BREATHING OF A PATIENT
An apparatus for promoting shallow breathing of a patient includes a paddle, a belt, and a bladder. The paddle may be configured to contact the body of the patient. The belt may be configured to secure the paddle against the body of the patient. Finally, the bladder may be interposed between the belt and the paddle in the installed condition, such that inflating the bladder urges the paddle toward the body of the patient so as to apply pressure to the abdomen of the patient. A method of promoting shallow breathing is also provided that includes attaching a paddle and a bladder to a belt, such that the bladder is between the paddle and the belt, positioning the paddle on the patient, and inflating the bladder to urge the paddle toward the body of the patient such that the paddle applies pressure to the abdomen of the patient.
