Vaporizer
A vaporizer for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine has a vaporizer tube and a holding sleeve in which the vaporizer tube is inserted. A clamping sleeve sits on the vaporizer tube. The vaporizer tube includes two circumferentially surrounding clamping surfaces which protrude in a radial direction and cooperate with the holding sleeve and the clamping sleeve such that the clamping surfaces are clamped between the holding sleeve and the clamping sleeve by an axial clamping force to be gastight. At least one of the holding sleeve and the clamping sleeve includes a surrounding sealing edge which rests against the respective clamping surface via a line contact and forms an annular sealing seat. The vaporizer further includes a device preventing relative rotation between the holding sleeve and the vaporizer tube. A heater of the vaporizer is attached to the vaporizer tube using a resistance welding method.
Mobile device holder and air freshener
Technologies are generally described for systems, devices and methods relating to a mobile device holder and air freshener. The mobile device holder and air freshener may include a body, a fastening component, and a removable cap. The body may be arranged so as to include an interior that is at least partially hollow. The fastening component may be effective to secure a mobile electronic device to the device. The removable cap may include a first vent effective to allow air to flow into or out of the device. The removable cap may allow scented material to be installed within the mobile device holder and air freshener. The body may be further arranged so as to allow air that has entered the device through the first vent to become scented and flow out of the device through the first vent or a second vent included in the body of the device.
HEATING AND COOKING SYSTEM
The disclosure provides systems and methods of use pertaining to a portable rocket-type heating and cooking system. The heating and cooking system features three distinct cooking surfaces designed for simultaneous use and may be dismantled and transported for use in a variety of environments, including use as a heating and cooking device in the home as a fireplace insert, use outdoors in a hiking or camping setting, or use in a developing-world application as a third-world outdoor or indoor kitchen. The heating and cooking system features a combustion chamber and exhaust chimney having optimized dimensions to achieve maximum combustion efficiency, which translates to increased heating and cooking capacities as well as reduced smoke exhaustion. Other embodiments are also disclosed.
ORCHARD CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a humidity and temperature control system for use in the outdoor cultivation of fruits, as typically found in an orchard setting, with the additional aid of a sunshade. Embodiments include a climate control system with an efficient and controlled introduction of water vapor into an outdoor orchard employing a plurality of fogging type nozzles, coupled with an overarching porous solar shade enclosure.

Plant Frost Protection Apparatus
An apparatus for protecting plants, trees, bushes, etc. from harsh environments when the ambient air temperature is below the lower tolerance limit for that species of plant. The apparatus consists of an envelope that covers the plant with a drawstring on the open end of the envelope that cinches around the base of the plant. Installed in envelope is a blower and heater that heats and circulates air throughout the envelope, creates a micro-environment within the envelope that is above the lower tolerance limit for that species of plant, keeping the plant from being harmed by the outside environment.
MULTI-SENSOR PLATFORM FOR CROP HEALTH MONITORING
A multi-sensor device comprises a housing containing multiple sensor modules for capturing and transmitting sensor data for plants in a crop. A control unit within the housing is operable to control the sensor modules, and a communications interface is connected to the control unit for transmitting data from said plurality of sensor modules. The sensor modules can include a physiological sensor, a surface analysis sensor, and chemical sensor. The multi-sensor device can be used as a hand-held device or mounted to a mobile platform for use in an automated crop monitoring system.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CROP HEALTH MONITORING, ASSESSMENT AND PREDICTION
Systems and methods for monitoring and assessing crop health and performance can provide rapid screening of individual plants. The systems and methods have an automated component, and rely primarily on the detection and interpretation of plant-based signals to provide information about crop health. In some cases knowledge from human experts is captured and integrated into the automated crop monitoring systems and methods. Predictive models can also be developed and used to predict future health of plants in a crop.
Heat insulated apparatus for heating smokable material
An apparatus configured to heat smokeable material to volatilize at least one component of the smokeable material, wherein the apparatus comprises a region of insulation having a core region which is evacuated to a lower pressure than an exterior of the insulation.
