Metal nanowire ink and method for forming conductive film
Fusing nanowire inks are described that can also comprise a hydrophilic polymer binder, such as a cellulose based binder. The fusing nanowire inks can be deposited onto a substrate surface and dried to drive the fusing process. Transparent conductive films can be formed with desirable properties.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A TEMPLATE
A method of manufacturing a template including a mesa on a second side is disclosed. The method can include depositing a first coating on the second side, depositing a photocurable material over a top of the mesa, contacting the photocurable material with a second surface to cause the photocurable material to cover the top surface of the mesa and at least a portion of a side of the mesa, curing the photocurable material to form a cured film on the top surface and to form a cured extrusion on at least a portion of the side surface, the cured extrusion is thicker than the cured film, etching the top surface of the mesa to remove the first coating and the cured film from the top surface, and removing the cured extrusion to form the template with the first coating on the side surface.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND ARTICLES FOR PRODUCING A FILM PATTERN ON A SUBSTRATE MATERIAL
Aspects herein are directed to systems, methods, and articles for producing a patterned film and using the patterned film to form a pattern of discrete overlay film structures on a substrate material. A uniform thickness of a film material is deposited on to a first surface of a run of carrier sheets, where each carrier sheet includes one or more holes extending there through. A first carrier sheet is extracted from the run of carrier sheets, and a second surface of the carrier sheet is positioned on a substrate material. Heat and/or pressure is applied to the film material to cause the film material to transfer to the substrate material through the one or more holes in the carrier sheet forming a pattern of discrete overlay film structures on the substrate material. The carrier sheet along with remaining portions of the film material is removed from the substrate material.
METAL NANOWIRE INK FOR THE FORMATION OF TRANSPARENT CONDUCTIVE FILMS WITH FUSED NETWORKS
Fusing nanowire inks are described that can also comprise a hydrophilic polymer binder, such as a cellulose based binder. The fusing nanowire inks can be deposited onto a substrate surface and dried to drive the fusing process. Transparent conductive films can be formed with desirable properties.
METHODS FOR DISPENSING AND ADHERING HOT MELT ENTRAINED POLYMERS TO SUBSTRATES
Disclosed are an entrained polymer or an entrained polymer composition, and a method for forming and adhering an entrained polymer structure to a substrate using the entrained polymer or an entrained polymer composition. The method includes providing a substrate configured to receive application of a molten entrained polymer. A particulate entrained polymer in molten form is applied in a predetermined shape, to a surface of the substrate, to form a solidified entrained polymer structure on the substrate. The entrained polymer includes a monolithic material formed of at least abase polymer and a particulate active agent. The surface of the substrate is compatible with the molten entrained polymer so as to thermally bond with it. In this way, the entrained polymer bonds to the substrate and solidifies upon sufficient cooling of the entrained polymer.
SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING INTEGRATED ROOF SYSTEM WITH ENGINEERED WOOD
A method to manufacture, on one or more production or manufacturing lines, an integrated roofing product, such as a roofing panel or roofing plank. A blank panel of engineered wood is cut or sawn into a plurality of raw planks or raw panels, each with an outer face, an inner face, a top edge, and a bottom edge. Each raw plank or panel is then processed by cutting or routing a profile into the top edge, the bottom edge, or both; affixing a gasket seal to the profile in the top edge or the bottom edge, or both; coating at least some or all of the outer face with a silicone-based or silicone-containing coating; applying a mix of granules and/or sand to the silicone-based coating while wet; and curing the coated plank or panel. A plurality of panels or planks can then be installed on a roofing structure.
Dual Slot Die Coater, Method for Coating Electrode Active Material Slurry Using the Same and Electrode Manufactured Using the Same
A dual slot die coater including a lower plate, an intermediate plate positioned on the lower plate and an upper plate positioned on the intermediate plate, a lower slot being formed between the lower plate and the intermediate plate, and an upper slot being formed between the intermediate plate and the upper plate. The lower plate, the intermediate plate and the upper plate have a lower die lip, an intermediate die lip and an upper die lip, each forming an front end with respect to the current collector, respectively, and a distance between the current collector and the lower die lip is larger than a distance between the current collector and the upper die lip and a distance between the current collector and the intermediate die lip.
APPAREL WITH DYNAMIC VENT STRUCTURE
Aspects herein are directed to an article of apparel having a vent opening formed by overlapping the edges of a first panel and a second panel. A plurality of discrete overlay film structures are applied to the second panel adjacent to the vent opening. When the article of apparel is exposed to an external stimulus, the film structures undergo a reversible increase in dimension in at least the z-direction which cause the second panel of material to undergo a reversible decrease in dimension in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the vent opening thereby causing the vent opening to dynamically transition from a closed state to an open state.
Metalloplastic strip for rigid food packaging and manufacturing method
The purpose of the invention is a method for coating a substrate made of an aluminum alloy in the AA3000 or AA5000 series, comprising the following steps: a) coating by (co-)extrusion of a polypropylene modified by maleic anhydride adhesion layer on each face of said substrate, and a surface layer made of polypropylene comprising at least one slip agent, so as to form a metalloplastic strip; b) calendering said metalloplastic strip; c) heat treatment of said metalloplastic strip; d) cooling of the metalloplastic strip, to obtain an H48 metallurgical temper and a coefficient of friction of 0.06 or less. The method being particularly suitable for the fabrication of food packaging and particularly for beverage can lids.
Method of manufacturing formed body for electrode
A method of manufacturing a formed body for an electrode includes: preparing an electrode material; placing a shape retaining member having an rectangular tubular shape with one opening portion L thereof facing down, and supplying the electrode material into the shape retaining member from the other opening portion M thereof; and discharging the electrode material onto a support from the opening portion L while relatively moving the opening portion L and the support, to form a film, a bulk density D.sub.1 of the electrode material in the first step and a bulk density D.sub.2 of the electrode material at the opening portion L satisfying a relationship of D.sub.2/D.sub.1=1.1 to 30, and a width T.sub.1 of the opening portion L in a short side direction and a distance T.sub.2 between the end portion X of the opening portion L and the support satisfying a relationship of width T.sub.1>distance T.sub.2.
