FLUIDIZED-BED COATING METHOD AND FLUIDIZED-BED COATING APPARATUS
A fluidized-bed coating method includes: immersing at least part of a workpiece in a powder coating material contained in a fluidized-bed vessel while air is introduced from a bottom of the fluidized-bed vessel at an average air flow rate of 5 mm/min or higher and 20 mm/min or lower per unit area of the bottom so that a floating ratio of the powder coating material is 5% or higher and 20% or lower, the workpiece having a temperature higher than or equal to a softening temperature of the powder coating material and lower than or equal to a melting temperature of the powder coating material; taking the workpiece out of the powder coating material; and heating the powder coating material attached to the workpiece.
PARALLEL-TYPE COATING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COATING MULTILAYER FILM
A parallel-type coating apparatus for coating at least one object to be coated carried by a carrier includes a double-layer vacuum chamber having feed and discharge chambers opposite to each other in a Z-direction, and a plurality of process chambers for performing at least a fixed point coating on the at least one object to be coated. The double-layer vacuum chamber and the process chambers are arranged in two juxtaposed rows in a Y-direction transverse to the Z-direction. A feed lifting mechanism is disposed in one of the double-layer vacuum chamber 3 and the process chambers, and includes a feed lifting seat movable in the Z-direction. A plurality of first conveying devices are respectively disposed in the other ones of the process chambers for conveying the carrier. A method for coating a multilayer film on at least one object to be coated carried by a carrier is also disclosed.
Top coated and powder coated article
The invention includes a method for preparing and top coating an item made of powder coated MDF (or other substrate containing wood) with the end result of improved visual and tactile smoothness; the invention includes the steps of cutting and machining the part, pre-powder preparation and sanding of the part, powder coating the part, post-powder preparation and sanding, and applying the liquid top coat to the part, resulting in a smoother finish than is currently available in any other powder coated MDF finish while requiring less coats than similar liquid paint finishes.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR METALLIC GEAR HUB WITH METALLIC TEETH HAVING OUTER POLYMER LAYER
Embodiments of a system, method and apparatus for a gear are disclosed. For example, a metallic gear hub can include an axis of rotation and metallic gear teeth. The metallic gear teeth can be smaller than a final gear teeth size of the gear. The metallic gear teeth can be co-planar with the axis. In addition, the metallic gear teeth can be non-orthogonal to the axis. A polymer layer can be located on the metallic gear teeth to form polymer gear teeth on the metallic gear teeth. The polymer gear teeth can form the final gear teeth size of the gear.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF FORMING A FLUID BARRIER
The present disclosure provides fluid barriers as well as systems and methods of forming fluid barriers. The method includes cleaning, via a blast media, a first side of a component and heating the component to a first temperature. Subsequently, the component is cleaned using a solvent. Subsequent to heating at least the component, a primer coating layer is formed on the first side of the component, and a topcoat layer is formed in contact with the primer coating layer. A primer coating material can be heated to a second temperature prior to formation of the primer coating layer. The first temperature can be different than the second temperature.
Functional surface coating methods for additively manufactured products
Provided is a method of making a coated object, which may include stereolithographically producing a green intermediate object from a dual cure polymerizable resin, the intermediate object containing uncured polymerizable material therein; then, optionally cleaning the green object; then, in any order: coating at least one surface portion of the object with a particulate material; and heating the object sufficiently to further cure the object; the coating and/or heating steps carried out under conditions in which uncured polymerizable material sweats (or exudes) to the surface of said object, and wherein the uncured polymerizable material contacts the particulate material, polymerizes, and bonds the particulate material to the surface of the object during the coating and/or heating steps. Also provided is a coated object produced by the method.
DURABLE HIGH CONTACT ANGLE EASY-TO-CLEAN COATING
A flame deposition method is disclosed for forming hydrophobic nanotextured surfaces with improved adhesion and durability for long-term use. The method according to present disclosure can produce nanotextured surfaces with contact angles greater than 140°. Coatings thus prepared exhibit enhanced durability, maintaining water contact angles of greater than 120° after approximately 200,000 abrasion cycles using a cloth wipe resistance test.
Method and apparatus for treating substrate
Provided is a method and apparatus for treating a substrate with a liquid. The substrate treating method comprises a pre-treating step for supplying the treatment liquid containing hydrogen fluoride (HF) to the substrate and treating the substrate before the surface modification step and a surface modification step for supplying an alkene-based chemical onto a substrate to change the surface of the substrate to a hydrophobic state. As a result, the surface of the substrate is uniform, and generation of particles can be reduced when the substrate is removed.
Method for fabricating porous ceramic heating body
A method for fabricating a porous ceramic heating body, and a method of fabricating a heating body. The method for fabricating includes, in sequence, mixing, ball-milling, defoaming, molding, and drying, pore-forming agent discharging, sintering, and electrode leading. The whole method is simple, and by using a box furnace to sinter the green body under an oxidizing atmosphere and normal pressure, the fabricated ceramic heating body is heated uniformly and the heating efficiency is high.
Two-coat single cure powder coating
Methods and systems for coating metal substrates are provided. The methods and systems include sequential application of low flow and high flow powder coatings followed by a single heating step to provide a cured coating. The methods and systems include a marker that allows coating uniformity to be monitored and assessed during application. The described methods provide coatings with optimal surface smoothness and edge coverage.
