Process for forming heat-resistant laser printable coating on PVC sheet
Methods of printing indicia on PVC sheets with laser printers. The method includes manufacturing a heat resistant coating that includes each of a water based ink, a work and turn coating, and Calcium Sulfate. The heat resistant coating is applied to the PVC sheet and is allowed to dry thereon. Indicia is printed on the PVC sheet with the laser printer. During a printing process, a temperature of a fuser assembly of the laser printer exceeds 290 degree Fahrenheit.

SOLVENTBORNE COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING INORGANIC ION-EXCHANGERS TO IMPROVE CORROSION RESISTANCE
The present invention provides an anti-corrosion composition comprising an inorganic ion-exchanger and a solventborne resin, wherein a substrate exposed to a halide-containing environment and having the anti-corrosion composition applied thereto has a reduced level of corrosion compared to the substrate exposed to the halide-containing environment without the anti-corrosion composition being applied. The inventive solventborne anti-corrosion composition may find use on substrates such as automotive vehicles, bridges, cranes, superstructures, offshore oil & gas rigs, pipes, tanks, ships, barges, boats, aircraft, concrete, and masonry that are exposed to halide-containing environments.

The filtering device is configured to filter a solution. The coating device is configured to squeeze and coat the filtered solution on the substrate. The baking device is configured to bake the solution coated on the substrate. The blowing device is configured to blow an air to the baked solution.
Energy-sensitive composition, cured product, and forming method of cured product
An energy-sensitive composition that yields a cured product with excellent thermal resistance and crack resistance, a cured product of the composition, and a method of forming a cured product. The energy-sensitive composition includes a polysilane and a thermal base generator, in which the thermal base generator includes an ionic compound and a nonionic compound. An anion moiety in the ionic compound preferably includes at least one of an anion having an oxaxanthone skeleton, an anion having a ketoprofen skeleton, and an anion having a fluorenone skeleton.
Process for coating the interior surface of non-metallic pipes with metal valves and metal fittings
Methods, processes, compositions and systems for preventing leaching effects from water pipes (such as lead, steel and copper) having an inner diameter of at least approximately 12 mm. 2-part thermoset resin coating is applied to the inner surfaces of the pipes where the curing agent can be a phenol free and plasticizer free adduct type. The coating can reduce heavy metals, such as lead, from leaching from installed pipes to less than approximately 10 g/L (10 ppb). When cured, specific leachates, Bisphenol A and Epichlorohydrin from the coatings will be (less than) <1 g/L (1 ppb) with overall TOC levels measured at (less than) <2.5 mg/L (2.5 ppm). Pipes can be returned to service within approximately 24 hours, and preferably within approximately 4 hours. The methods, processes, compositions and systems can work with non-metallic pipes having metal valves and/or metal fittings.

A thermoplastic prepreg includes a web or mesh of fibers in which the web or mesh of fibers includes chopped fibers. The thermoplastic prepreg also includes a thermoplastic material that fully impregnates the web or mesh of fibers so that the thermoplastic prepreg has a void content of less than 5%. The thermoplastic material is polymers that are formed by in-situ polymerization of monomers or oligomers in which greater than 90% of the monomers or oligomers react to form the thermoplastic material. The thermoplastic prepreg includes between 5 and 95 weight percent of the thermoplastic material and the chopped fibers that form the web or mesh of fibers are un-bonded.
