A method and apparatus to determine body composition of a subject is disclosed. Physical characteristics of a subject and water in a pool is determined. A body of the subject is completely submerged in the pool of water such that a head of the subject is just below a surface of the water in the pool. The subject completely exhales air into an air measuring device as the body of the subject is submerged just below the surface of the water. The body composition is then determined and displayed based on the determined subject characteristics, water characteristics and the amount of air exhaled into the air measuring device.

Adjustable seating devices for use in a hot tub are disclosed. Example adjustable seating devices, as disclosed herein, may include multiple panels that move relative to one another and/or relative to the hot tub frame to adjust between positions. In some embodiments, one or more panels of the disclosed adjustable seating device may include jets. The disclosed adjustable seating devices may be adjusted manually, hydraulically, air-actuated, or electronically.

A device for therapy or exercise is provided that includes a frame, a base at least partially supporting and extending from the frame, a user support moveably coupled to the base and positioned adjacent the frame, a foot crank system coupled to the frame, a hand crank system coupled to the frame, and a motor coupled to at least one of the foot crank system and the hand crank system. An apparatus for applying traction force to a spine of a user has a chassis with an upper surface. A user lies on the upper surface with the spine extending generally parallel to a longitudinal axis of the chassis. Two members extend from the chassis on opposing sides of the longitudinal axis, each member being positioned to engage an armpit. A lever is pivotally attached to the chassis for rotation about a lateral axis, and a pad coupled to the lever contacts a proximal portion of each upper leg when the leg is bent forward at a hip joint. A force applied to the lever is transmitted through the pad to each upper leg and opposed by the members, thereby applying traction force for decompressing the spine. The force may be applied by the arms of the user or by a motor.

It is of a particular benefit to provide air, mixture of gases of a composition different to the composition of air, mixtures of air and oxygen or pure oxygen for breathing (hyperbaric oxygen therapy HBO/HBOT), while the water may be supplemented with various additives appropriate for the kind of an ailment treated, such as mineral, gaseous, herbal, antiinflammatory, antimicrobial including antibacterial additives.
