APPARATUS FOR FORMING MAGNETIC PIGMENT PATTERN ON ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR FORMING MAGNETIC PIGMENT PATTERN USING THE SAME
There is provided an apparatus for forming a magnetic pigment pattern on an article. The apparatus includes: a magnetic pattern mold having nonmagnetic pattern grooves engraved in a predetermined pattern and providing predetermined magnetic field lines on a pattern-forming object surface of an article by generating magnetism in areas outside the nonmagnetic pattern grooves; and a spray unit spraying an adhesive resin composite containing a ferromagnetic pigment onto the pattern-forming object surface of the article. A predetermined magnetic pigment pattern is formed while the magnetic pigment of the adhesive resin composite that is applied to the pattern-forming object surface of the article is rearranged along magnetic field lines generated by the magnetic pattern mold.
Method of manufacturing a panel
A method is provided for manufacturing a panel. of the method may involve supplying a substrate having an upper side. A layer may be provided onto the upper side. The upper side may be irradiated so as to cure at least a part of the layer by irradiation, hence forming the panel. The layer may include a liquid coating on substantially the entire upper side and a substance which is digitally printed locally on the upper side. The substance and the liquid coating may cooperate such that either (1) the coating and the substance react with each other, whereas the substance is a liquid that is printed on the upper side before the coating is applied and wherein the substance and the coating have different surface tensions, or (2) the coating is non-curable or only curable to a limited extent by the irradiation, whereas the substance makes the coating curable by the irradiation at locations where they meet each other.
Metalization of surfaces
A method for application of a metal on a substrate comprises a) contacting at least a part of the surface of the substrate with at least one initiator, and polymerizable units with the ability to undergo a chemical reaction to form a polymer, the polymer comprising at least one charged group, wherein the contacting is achieved by contacting a pad with a plate comprising the at least one initiator and the polymerizable units and subsequently contacting the pad with the surface of the substrate, thereby transferring the at least one initiator and the polymerizable units to the surface of the substrate. Subsequently a metal layer is produced on the surface. The compactness of the applied metal layer is increased.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND VARNISH APPLYING APPARATUS
An image forming system includes an image forming unit, a varnish applying unit, a conveying unit, an irradiation unit, and a controller. The controller controls conveyance of a recording material so that a conveying speed of the recording material in a case that varnish is applied to the recording material with a toner image is formed is slower than a conveying speed of the recording material in a case that varnish is applied to the recording material with no toner image. The controller controls irradiation of the varnish with light so that intensity of the light with which the varnish is irradiated in a case that the varnish is applied to the recording material with the toner image is lower than intensity of the light with which the varnish is irradiated in a case that the varnish is applied to the recording material with no toner image.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming system includes an image forming unit including a first photosensitive member, a first developing unit, a second photosensitive member, a second developing unit, a third photosensitive member, a third developing unit, a fourth photosensitive member, and a fourth developing unit, a varnish applying unit; an irradiation unit; and a controller configured to control image formation by the image forming unit to form a black image, on which the varnish is superimposed, with the yellow toner, the magenta toner, and the cyan toner.
Dispensing and ultraviolet (UV) curing with low backscatter
A dispensing and ultraviolet (UV) curing system is disclosed with low backscatter. The system includes a dispenser for dispensing an ultraviolet (UV) curable material onto a substrate and a UV radiation source assembly coupled to the dispenser and operable to facilitate curing the UV curable material that has been dispensed onto the substrate. The UV radiation source assembly has a UV radiation source with a first optical axis and an optical element with a second optical axis. The second optical axis is different than the first optical axis. The optical element is configured such that, during operation, UV radiation from the UV radiation source passes through the optical element.
Coating Compositions, Elastic Barrier Coatings Formed Therefrom, and Methods of Applying Such Coatings
A coating composition includes an aqueous carrier medium, at least a first polymer, and polymeric core-shell particles dispersed in the aqueous carrier medium. The first polymer includes: (i) a barrier segment having aromatic groups and urethane linkages, urea linkages, or a combination thereof; and (ii) an elastomeric segment having a glass transition temperature of less than 0 C. The barrier segment can make up at least 30% of the first polymer, based on the total solids weight of the first polymer.
AIR EXHAUST OR AIR-AND-SMOKE EXHAUST PIPE FOR CLEAN ROOM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention provides an air exhaust or air-and-smoke exhaust pipe for a clean room and a manufacturing method thereof. The air exhaust or air-and-smoke exhaust pipe is a pipe that satisfies FM4922, FM4910, or another equivalent standard and that is used for exhausting nonflammable chemical gas and corrosive vapor or nonflammable chemical gas, corrosive vapor and smoke in fire. The manufacturing method for the air exhaust or air-and-smoke exhaust pipe is: coating an inner part of a pre-manufactured metal pipe with a liquid coating that can be initially dried at normal temperature or low temperature to obtain an inner coating pipe; and baking the inner coating pipe at a temperature not exceeding 250 C. after the coating is initially dried, thus the coating is completely dried to obtain a finished product.
