ORTHOTIC APPLIANCE
Provided is an device for stabilizing the center of gravity and/or correcting distortion of the body simply through wearing of the appliance on a toe and conducting normal activities. The following invention is provided by the present invention. A cylindrical correction device that corrects distortion of the body, wherein: the correction device has inward-facing triangular-prism-shaped protrusions on the inner circumference; the triangles are inclined in one direction with respect to the circumference; and the correction device comprises a cylindrical elastic material having a diameter of 7-20 mm, a width of 5-10 mm, a thickness of 1-3 mm, and a hardness of 4-6.
CRYOGENIC CHAMBER FOR A HORSE OR A CAMEL
The cryogenic chamber has a treatment cabin (12) cooled by a cooling factor in the form of liquid air or liquid nitrogen distributed through the nozzle system (17). The treatment cabin (12), which can be open at the top or equipped with a roof, is available in a stationary or mobile version, namely it can be placed on a trailer and is transitional, namely it has a rear door (2) and a front door (1) and its side walls have outlet openings (8, 11) and a grid (7) intended for introducing the cooling factor from the cooling chamber (16), whereas in the treatment cabin (12) at the front and at the back there are elements (18) blocking the animal taking the treatment. The shape of the treatment cabin (12) is based on a rectangle. The chamber is equipped with roller blinds (4, 5) and its operation is controlled by a panel with a monitor as well as a power supply and control system (3).
PHYSICAL THERAPY DEVICE
The physical therapy device is a therapeutic device. The physical therapy device is adapted for use with a patient. The physical therapy device massages a leg of the patient. The physical therapy device comprises a base, a plurality of telescopic stanchions, and a massaging structure. The massaging structure and the base attach to the plurality of telescopic stanchions. The plurality of telescopic structures elevate the massaging structure above a supporting surface. The massaging structure rotates such that the rotation of the massaging structure massages the leg of the patient. The base is a pedestal that forms the final link in the load path between the massaging structure and a supporting surface.
Physical training device for animals with a therapeutical and entertaining component
The present invention refers to a device of the treadmill kind for the treatment, recovery or recreation of animals, particularly dogs, enabling physical parameters to be monitored and providing physiotherapy solutions and visual and olfactory stimuli. It is endowed with treadmill (1), pneumatic cylinders (4), neck immobiliser (5) cables (6), harness (7), front motor (8), power and displacement sensor (9), lift support structure (10), physiological sensors (11), calibrated weights (12), rear motor (15) and wheels with brake (16). A motor moves the treadmill (1), elevating the lift platform (10). The device has an aromatherapy dispenser (2) and virtual reality glasses (3). The animal is placed on the treadmill (1), a vest is placed thereon, endowed with physiological sensors, leg strap with calibrated weights (12) and wrist straps endowed with power and displacement sensor (9), held upright by the pneumatic cylinders (4) by way of cables (6).
Dual Action, Single Motor Massager
A personal massage apparatus employs a single motor to selectively provide the dual action of either a vibrating massage or a percussive massage. Two sprag bearings are mounted on the drive shaft of the electric motor, with the sprag bearings being oriented such that the first sprag bearing is driven when the drive shaft rotates counter-clockwise, and the second sprag bearing is driven when the drive shaft rotates clockwise. The first sprag bearing has an eccentric weight coupled thereto such that vibration for a vibrational massage is caused when the motor rotates counter-clockwise. The second sprag bearing has crankshaft and crank pin coupled thereto, driving a connecting rod in reciprocating motion to drive a percussive massage head when the motor rotates clockwise. A counterbalance on the crankshaft minimizes vibration when the percussion action is selected.
GUM SOOTHER
A gum soother with a vibrating and detachable head. The gum soother can have a wand or spherical body with a vibrating device inside. The vibrating device can be in mechanical communication with one or more detachable heads. The detachable heads can have a variety of chew tips to soothe gums.
WALKING AID FOR PETS WITH LIMB INJURY
A walking aid for pets includes a main member, two wheels, and a fastening device. The main member has a closed portion and two wall portions connected to opposite sides of the closed portion, wherein the closed portion and the wall portions enclose a receiving room, and an opening is formed between the wall portions. The wheels are pivoted on the main member. The fastening device is connected to the main member to be worn on a pet.
System and method for treating animals
A system for treating a tissue of an animal patient. The system may include a display and input device, and at least one instrument chosen from an impulse stimulator instrument and an acoustic oscillator. The impulse stimulator is configured to apply a percussive massage including one or more force impulses. The impulse stimulator is further configured to measure a response of the tissue to one of the applied force impulses to assess a condition of the tissue. The acoustic oscillator is configured to apply an acoustic stimulation including one or more acoustic pulses to the tissue of the animal patient.
Device for cold therapy
A device for cold therapy using cooling mist. Ice baths and cryogenic chamber are previously known solutions for cold therapy, but both suffer from several disadvantages, such as space requirements. The present device for cold therapy includes elements, such as a nozzle, for producing mist from liquid provided for the device, which mist stream is sprayed to a surface area of a treated object in order to cool the treated object, wherein the Sauter mean diameter of the mist is at most 150 m.
