Apparatus and method for in-situ cathodic protection of piggable water pipelines
Apparatus and method for cleaning the inner surface of a pipeline from deposits and for forming a protective coating are disclosed. The apparatus includes a cleaning tool which is caused to move in the interior of the pipeline by a flow of a fluid, the cleaning tool comprising a plurality of guide discs engaging the pipeline surface and mounted along a longitudinal axis of the cleaning tool, an anode positioned inside the cleaning tool, and an impressed current source electrically connected to the anode and the interior of the pipeline, the interior of the pipeline acting as a cathode when current is applied from the current source so that ions flow from the anode, through the fluid, to the interior of the pipeline.
Reinforced coreless tube extrusion systems and methods
Methods of coating a base tube are disclosed. Various methods include passing a hollow base tube into a coating die while maintaining a chamber pressure outside the hollow base tube that is lower than a pressure within an inner lumen of the hollow base tube. Such methods can include extruding coating material onto the hollow base tube to form a coated hollow tube by delivering coating material into the coating die. Vacuum may be formed within the coating die proximate a point of impingement where the coating material is applied to the hollow base tube.

INTERNAL ANTICORROSIVE AND ABRASIVE RESISTANT PROTECTION COATING FOR PIPES
The present invention includes an inner anticorrosive and abrasive resistant coating (10) for metallic pipes (1) used for the transport of fluids. The coating includes: a layer of epoxy resin (2) having free hydroxyl groups, which are applied directly to the inside (1a) of the metallic pipe (1); a layer of thermoplastic adhesive (3) applied directly onto the layer of epoxy resin; and a layer of a plastic material (4) containing polyvinylidene fluoride or polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF).
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SERVICING A WELL
A method and system for servicing a well. Servicing a well often includes running a service string into a production string, which may include a rod string. A service portion is provided in the production string during completion. The service portion is located at or uphole of a large rod string feature. The service portion has a greater inside diameter than production tubing and other standard production string components. The service portion provides sufficient clearance for the service string alongside the large feature. The large feature may be, for example, a PCP stator, a centralizer, or a rod collar. The large feature may be pulled uphole into the service portion prior to running in the service string, allowing servicing downhole of the large feature without pulling the entire rod string. The service portion may also mitigate rod wear in deviated or other portions of the well.
AIR EXHAUST OR AIR-AND-SMOKE EXHAUST PIPE FOR CLEAN ROOM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention provides an air exhaust or air-and-smoke exhaust pipe for a clean room and a manufacturing method thereof. The air exhaust or air-and-smoke exhaust pipe is a pipe that satisfies FM4922, FM4910, or another equivalent standard and that is used for exhausting nonflammable chemical gas and corrosive vapor or nonflammable chemical gas, corrosive vapor and smoke in fire. The manufacturing method for the air exhaust or air-and-smoke exhaust pipe is: coating an inner part of a pre-manufactured metal pipe with a liquid coating that can be initially dried at normal temperature or low temperature to obtain an inner coating pipe; and baking the inner coating pipe at a temperature not exceeding 250 C. after the coating is initially dried, thus the coating is completely dried to obtain a finished product.
System and method of coating products
Systems and methods are provided for coating interior surfaces of products with coating material. The systems and methods can include at least one plug to selectively close an opening of the product, wherein the plug is movable relative to the opening between a first position in which the plug is retracted from the opening and a second position in which the plug is engaged with the opening to seal the opening. When the plug is in the second position, a pump delivers coating material to the cavity of the product via a fluid line and a port in the plug. The coating material can fill the cavity, and an electrode can be energized to coat the interior surface of the product with an electrophoretic deposition process. Other coating processes can also be used in a similar manner.

ANTIMICROBIAL AND ANTIFOULING CONFORMAL HYDROGEL COATINGS
The present application discloses a method of forming a hydrogel-coated substrate, wherein the hydrogel has antifouling and antimicrobial properties. The method comprises applying an aqueous pre-hydrogel solution to a substrate, polymerizing the aqueous pre-hydrogel solution, thereby forming a coated substrate having a conformal hydrogel coating and a non-conformal hydrogel coating, contacting the coated substrate with a swelling agent, and removing the non-conformal hydrogel coating from the coated substrate, thereby leaving the conformal hydrogel coating on the substrate to form the hydrogel-coated substrate. The aqueous pre-hydrogel solution comprises a monomer with antimicrobial activity, a monomer with antifouling activity, and either a polymer, oligomer, or macromer which, when polymerized together, form a hydrogel. Also disclosed is a coated substrate and a hydrogel coating.
Treating fluidic channels
Disclosed is the treatment of the interior walls of a fluidic channel with a self-assembled monolayer of an organophosphorus acid.
