MASSAGE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
This disclosure relates to massage apparatus and a method of its use for massage of the human body, the massage apparatus including a frame supporting opposingly-located first and second massage tools mounted thereon to define between them a massage gap, wherein a body portion is receivable for massaging, and gap-adjusting means, whereby the gap is adjustable while the apparatus is in use, for the massage tools in use to exert therapeutically effective force substantially continuously on a massage-receiving body portion received in the gap. The massage tools are interchangeable with massage tools of other shapes designed to provide different therapeutic effects. The frame is open- and closeable by operating the gap adjusting means to accommodate limbs of different sizes.
BODY CLEANING DEVICE
A body cleaning device is disclosed. The body cleaning device comprises a body cleaning assembly, a head massage assembly, and a facial cleaning assembly. The facial cleaning assembly can accommodate in an accommodating space which is formed by the body cleaning assembly and the head massage assembly. The body cleaning assembly is provided with a plurality of silicon brushes over a helmet thereon. The head massage assembly is provided with a plurality of protruding cylinders on a upper cover thereon. The facial cleaning assembly is provided with a plurality of facial silicon brushes over its surface. The body cleaning device can deep clean a body and a face by vibrating.
WEARABLE RESPIRATION MANAGEMENT DEVICE
Various implementations include wearable devices and methods for managing respiration and user health. In some particular implementations, a wearable device includes: a mount sized to couple with a body part of a user; and a housing coupled with the mount. The housing at least partially contains: a contact element for applying pressure to the body part; and an actuator coupled with the contact element, the actuator configured to actuate the contact element in applying pressure to the body part according to a prescribed pattern. The prescribed pattern includes at least two repetitions, each repetition having: a first segment at a progressively increasing pressure; a second segment at a substantially constant pressure, following the first segment; a third segment at a progressively decreasing pressure, following the second segment; and a fourth segment at a substantially constant pressure that is less than the substantially constant pressure of the second segment.
System and method for providing massaging within a vehicle
A system and method for providing massaging within a vehicle that include determining at least one position and at least one movement of a driver seated within a seat of the vehicle. The system and method also include determining at least one strenuous driving activity associated with the driver. The system and method additionally include determining at least one tension point associated with the driver. The system and method further include processing a massaging plan that is based on the at least one tension point and controlling at least one massaging element disposed within the seat of the vehicle to provide massaging based on the massaging plan.
G tolerance improvement device and control method
Provided is a G tolerance improvement device provided with: an estimation unit that estimates either or both of a body fluid volume in the head of a user and a change amount of the body fluid volume; and a pressurization unit that applies pressure to the user on the basis of either or both of the body fluid volume and the change amount estimated by the estimation unit.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING MASSAGING WITHIN A VEHICLE
A system and method for providing massaging within a vehicle that include receiving vehicle dynamic data associated with a real-time dynamic performance of the vehicle as the vehicle is being driven for a predetermined period of time. The system and method also include determining at least one strenuous driving activity associated with a driver of the vehicle based on at least one driving maneuver. The system and method additionally include analyzing positional parameters and movement parameters that are associated with at least one area of a body of the driver that is utilized to conduct the at least one driving maneuver for the predetermined period of time. The system and method further include controlling at least one massaging element disposed within the seat of the vehicle to provide massaging to the at least one area of the body of the driver.
Self-treating upper neck system for therapeutic mobilization
One embodiment of a self-treating upper neck system for therapeutic mobilization and of the type allowing for restoration of C1-2 rotation by means of placing repeated passive mobilizations to the upper neck. This embodiment accomplishes this by having two stoppers (12a and 12b) that fix the C2 vertebra by placing a force through the posterior aspect of the C2 transverse processes. The force is applied by the patient via an elastic head strap (20) attached to a rope (22) that is looped through pulleys and eventually terminates with handles (24a and 24b) on each side. With the patient resting his/her head on a foam cushion (14) secured to the base of the apparatus (10), they use the rope (22) and pulley system to generate the precise magnitude and direction of forces necessary to repeatedly mobilize the C1-2 segments.
GARMENT SYSTEM INCLUDING AT LEAST ONE SENSOR AND AT LEAST ONE ACTUATOR RESPONSIVE TO THE SENSOR AND RELATED METHODS
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a garment system including at least one sensor and at least one actuator that operates responsive to sensing feedback from the at least one sensor to cause a flexible compression garment to selectively constrict or selectively dilate, thereby compressing or relieving compression against at least one body part of a subject. Such selective constriction or dilation can improve muscle functioning or joint functioning during use of motion-conducive equipment, such as an exercise bike or rowing machine.
