Apparatus for forming magnetic pigment pattern on article and method for forming magnetic pigment pattern using the same
There is provided an apparatus for forming a magnetic pigment pattern on an article. The apparatus includes: a magnetic pattern mold having nonmagnetic pattern grooves engraved in a predetermined pattern and providing predetermined magnetic field lines on a pattern-forming object surface of an article by generating magnetism in areas outside the nonmagnetic pattern grooves; and a spray unit spraying an adhesive resin composite containing a ferromagnetic pigment onto the pattern-forming object surface of the article. A predetermined magnetic pigment pattern is formed while the magnetic pigment of the adhesive resin composite that is applied to the pattern-forming object surface of the article is rearranged along magnetic field lines generated by the magnetic pattern mold.

The present invention relates to a water-, oil- and grease-resistant multilayer coating for a paper-based substrate comprising a water-based inner primer coating, an intermediate polymeric extrusion coating, and a water-based top barrier coating, wherein a surface of the paper-based substrate coated therewith has water, oil and grease barrier properties, and wherein the paper-based substrate coated therewith is repulpable and recyclable.
DECORATIVE COATING FILM
The present disclosure provides a decorative coating film, which ensures and/or maintains millimeter wave transmission properties even though the decorative coating film is continuously used. The present disclosure relates to a decorative coating film formed on the surface of a resin substrate positioned in the pathway of a radar device, wherein the decorative coating film at least comprises: fine silver particles or fine silver alloy particles, nickel oxide, and a binding resin having light transmission properties, which binds the fine silver particles or the fine silver alloy particles dispersed in the decorative coating film with one another, wherein the shape of the nickel oxide is a wire shape.

MULTILAYER COATING FILM AND COATED ARTICLE
FF properties of a multilayer coating film configured to exhibit a warm color through a lustrous layer (14) and a translucent colored layer (15) are improved to achieve a metallic textured color having a high-quality color tone. The lustrous layer (14) contains, in a mixed state, a high-reflection flake (21) having a visible light reflectance of 90% or more and a low-reflection flake (22) having a visible light reflectance that is half (i.e., ) or smaller than the visible light reflectance of the high-reflection flake (21) as the luster material. When both of the high-reflection flake (21) and the low-reflection flake (22) are projected on a bottom of the lustrous layer (14), a ratio of a projected area of the flakes (21) and (22) on the bottom of the lustrous layer (14) is 100%.
BRILLIANT PIGMENT-CONTAINING AQUEOUS BASE COAT COATING MATERIAL, AND METHOD FOR FORMING MULTILAYER FILM USING SAME
Provided are a brilliant pigment-containing aqueous base coat coating material with which it is possible to ensure waterproof adhesiveness and impart a metallic gloss, and a method for forming a multilayer film using the same. The invention provides a brilliant pigment-containing aqueous base coat coating material including water-dispersible acrylic polymer particles (A), a water-soluble acrylic resin (B), a curing agent (C), and a brilliant pigment (D) obtained by pulverizing a vapor-deposited metal film to create metal chips. The water-soluble acrylic resin (B) is a copolymer of an N-substituted (meth)acrylamide (i), a hydroxyl group-containing polymerizable unsaturated monomer (ii), a carboxyl group-containing polymerizable unsaturated monomer (iii), and a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (iv) other than (i)-(iii). The brilliant pigment (D) is contained in a pigment weight concentration (PWC) in the range of 10-40%.
Payment card system and method
Embodiments of the invention relate to payment cards and methods for making payment cards. In one embodiment, a card comprises a first layer and a second layer adjacent to the first layer. The second layer comprises a plurality of particles comprising metal, and the plurality of particles comprise at least about 15 volume % of the second layer. In another embodiment, a mixture is prepared comprising polymer and a plurality of particles comprising metal. The plurality of particles comprise at least about 15 volume % of the mixture. The mixture is pressed and an outer layer is applied. The mixture and outer layer are then cut to form the card.
SUBSTRATE WRINKLED COATING
A system and a method include a substrate wrinkled coating having a substrate, and a curing layer on top of the substrate. The curing layer includes a partially cured portion directly atop the substrate, and a completely cured portion having light-diffusive wrinkles on top of the partially cured portion. Properties of the light-diffusive wrinkles are controlled by one or more curing parameters, and a composition of the partially cured portion is the same as a composition of the completely cured portion.
