COATING FILM REPAIR METHOD AND COATED PRODUCT
To provide a repairing method, by which a coated article having high adhesion between a PVDF coating film and a repair coating film and favorable processability of the repair coating film can be obtained, and a repaired coated article.
A method for repairing a first coating film, which comprises applying a second coating material (repairing coating material) to a position to be repaired of a first coating film (PVDF coating film) formed by applying a first coating material to the surface of a substrate, to form a second coating film (repair coating film) thereby to repair the first coating film,
wherein the first coating material is a powder coating material containing PVDF (A) and a resin (B), wherein the second coating material is a coating material containing a fluororesin (L) and a titanium oxide pigment (M), and wherein the content of the titanium oxide pigment (M) is from 15 to 190 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the fluororesin (L).
Methods for preparing coating compositions for protecting oilfield operational components
Coating compositions for coating an oilfield operational component, and related methods, may include in some aspects a coating composition having a trifunctional silane, a silanol, and a filler. The coating composition may be applied to a surface of the oilfield operational component that is configured to be exposed to a fluid. The coating composition may be applied to at least partially cover or coat the surface. The coating composition may be configured to chemically bond with a cured primer composition that includes an epoxy.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL WATER-BORNE HIGH SOLIDS TILE PAINT
Described herein is a coated building panel that comprises a side surface that is textured and exhibits a white and/or color. The building panel comprising an upper surface opposite a lower surface and a side surface extending between the upper surface and the lower surface, a coating applied to the side surface, the coating comprising an inorganic particle having a disk shape and an ionic dispersant comprising an ionic group that are present on a repeating unit and the ionic dispersant comprising at least two of the repeating units.
Method for forming multilayer coating film
Provided is a method for forming a multilayer coating film, the method being capable of forming a high-brightness white multilayer coating film which is excellent in terms of brilliant feeling, smoothness, and weather resistance and with which white stains are suppressed. In this method for forming a multilayer coating film to form a brilliant coating film, a white multilayer coating film is formed by: sequentially applying a first coloring paint (P1), a second aqueous coloring paint (P2), a third aqueous coloring paint (P3), and a clear coat paint (P4) on a cured electrodeposition coating film formed on a steel sheet; and forming a first colored coating film, a second colored coating film, a third colored coating film, and a clear coat coating film which each have a particular composition, brightness, film thickness, and the like.
GOLF BALLS HAVING COVERS WITH DECORATIVE EFFECT COATINGS
Golf balls having covers with decorative-effect coatings are provided. The golf balls are fashionable and decorative with unique appearances. In one embodiment, a golf ball comprising a core having at least one layer and cover having at least one layer is provided. The outer cover surface can have surface textured dimples and a decorative-effect first coating can be applied to this outer surface. A transparent second coating can be applied over the decorative-effect coating. In another embodiment, a semi-transparent metallic first coating overlies the outer cover surface and a decorative-effect second coating overlies the metallic coating.
METHOD FOR COATING A BUILDING PANEL AND A BUILDING PANEL
A method for coating a building panel, the method including applying a first coating fluid including an organic binder on a surface of the building panel to obtain at least one coating layer, and applying barrier components and photocatalytic particles, preferably TiO.sub.2, on the at least one coating layer. Also, such a building panel.
FUNCTIONAL MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a material having various functions such as antimicrobial function or waterproof function, as well as a method and an apparatus for manufacturing the same. The method for manufacturing a functional material according to the present invention includes coating a surface of conductive or non-conductive material with an electrically charged microfine material having a size of nano- or micro-units, thereby imparting functionality to the material simultaneously with maintaining intrinsic properties thereof.
In addition, the method for manufacturing a functional material, according to the present invention, had advantages in which: repeating a process of coating the surface of the conductive or non-conductive material with a functional substance can impart a plurality of desired functions to the material, in addition, a thickness of the functional material may be easily adjusted, and a large area/large quantity may be produced by a simplified process using a general material in a short period.
Photocatalyst transfer film and production method thereof
Provided are a photocatalyst transfer film allowing a photocatalyst layer that is uniform, highly transparent, and exhibits an antimicrobial property in dark places to be transferred to the surfaces of various transfer base materials; and a production method thereof. The photocatalyst transfer film has, on a base film, a photocatalyst layer containing a titanium oxide particle-containing photocatalyst, antimicrobial metal-containing alloy particles, a silicon compound and a surfactant. The production method of the photocatalyst transfer film includes applying a photocatalyst coating liquid to a base film; and performing drying. The photocatalyst coating liquid contains a titanium oxide particle-containing photocatalyst, antimicrobial metal-containing alloy particles, a silicon compound, a surfactant and an aqueous dispersion medium.
