Vibration generator

A vibration generator includes a housing, a first vibrator, and a second vibrator. The first vibrator includes a hollow yoke having a through hole, a magnet disposed within the through hole of the yoke, and a first elastic support member. The second vibrator includes a coil disposed above or below the magnet within the through hole of the yoke, and a second elastic support member to which the coil is fixed and that is disposed to extend from the inside to the outside of the through hole of the yoke and that is fixed to the housing. The first vibrator vibrates at a first natural frequency in a direction connecting both side portions of the yoke. The second vibrator vibrates at a second natural frequency that is different from the first natural frequency, in the direction connecting the both side portions of the yoke.

An actuator device includes a support part, a first movable part, and a second movable part. The second movable part includes a pair of first connection portions positioned on both sides of the first movable part on a first axis and connected to a pair of first connecting parts, and a pair of second connection portions positioned on both sides of the first movable part on a second axis and connected to a pair of second connecting parts. An outer edge of each of the pair of the first connection portions includes a first linear portion that extends along a second axis direction. An outer edge of each of the pair of the second connection portions includes a second linear portion that extends along a first axis direction.

The stationary portion has: a case including a housing disposed radially outside from the movable portion and having a cylindrical shape extending along the central axis; and a coil, capable of applying a driving force to the movable portion. The movable portion has: a magnet, extending along the central axis; and a holder, disposed above the magnet. The holder has: an upper portion, extending in a direction intersecting with the central axis and disposed above an upper surface of the magnet; and a side surface portion, extending downward from a radial outer edge part of the upper portion and fixed to a radial outer side surface of the magnet.

An electromagnetic acoustic transducer includes a flux guide surrounded by one or more permanent magnets abutting side faces of the flux guide. The magnetic field from the permanent magnets enters the flux guide where repulsion between the magnetic fields directs at least a portion of the magnetic fields toward a test face abutting a test object. The flux density at the test face is greater than the flux density within the originating permanent magnets. An active portion of a coil disposed between the flux guide and the test object contains conductors that are substantially straight, parallel and carry current in the same direction in order to provide substantially mode pure and uni-directionally polarised excitation of shear waves within the test object.

The present invention provides a driving method of a linear motor, comprising: S1: providing a motor having a vibrator; S2: inputting a first driving signal to the vibrator to drive the vibrator to vibrate so as to generate a displacement; S3: monitoring the current displacement of the vibrator; S4: determining whether the current displacement of the vibrator is greater than or equal to a preset maximum displacement of the vibrator; S5: if the current displacement of the vibrator is greater than or equal to the preset maximum displacement of the vibrator, providing a second driving signal having a preset duration to the vibrator, so as to provide a electromagnetic force having a direction opposite to the direction of the current displacement; S6: providing the first driving signal to the vibrator again so as to drive the vibrator to continuingly vibrate.
