SYSTEM FOR MELTING ALUMINUM AND RECYCLING BLACK DROSS
20180369827 · 2018-12-27 ·

The present invention relates to a system for melting aluminum and recycling black dross, including an aluminum melting furnace responsible for melting aluminum scraps in molten aluminum and a black dross recycling device responsible for recycling black dross generated when the aluminum scraps are melted in the molten aluminum.

The aluminum melting furnace includes a heating chamber provided with heating units responsible for heating the molten aluminum; and a melting chamber provided with an eddy unit responsible for generating an eddy descending in a spiral in the molten aluminum, a flux supply unit responsible for adding a flux to the eddy, and a raw material supply unit responsible for adding the aluminum scraps to the eddy, wherein, in the eddy unit, black dross formed when inclusions contained in the molten aluminum are captured by the flux is repeatedly descended and floated in the molten aluminum through the eddy, so that the black dross is collected into a spherical shape to form spherical black dross, and the black dross recycling device is responsible for recycling the spherical black dross.

SINGLE STREAM OF AIR FOR SEPARATING MIXED WASTE STREAM INTO THREE FRACTIONS
20180345322 · 2018-12-06 ·

Separation and classification equipment for separating a mixed waste stream into first, second and third fractions. The equipment comprises a feeding member for feeding the waste stream toward a gap and a blower for discharging a stream of air for mixing with the waste stream, as the waste stream falls through the gap. The first fraction falls through the stream of air and collects in a first collection area while the stream of air carries away the second and the third fractions. A rotatable permeable member is arranged to permit the stream of air to pass therethrough and thereby force and retain the third fraction against a surface of the rotatable permeable member and be conveyed, by the rotatable permeable member, toward a third collection area while the second fraction tends to separate, from the rotatable permeable member and the third fraction, and collect in a separate second collection area.

ROTATIONAL DRIVE ARRANGEMENT FOR ROTATING A VESSEL
20180340593 · 2018-11-29 ·

A rotary machine includes a vessel that defines an interior for receiving materials. The vessel is mounted to rotate about an axis of rotation that extends through the vessel. The rotary machine also includes a sprocket mounted circumferentially about an exterior of the vessel so as to encircle the axis of rotation of the vessel. The sprocket includes a plurality of sprocket teeth. The sprocket defines a sprocket pitch diameter and a sprocket addendum diameter. The rotary machine also includes a drive wheel that intermeshes with the sprocket for driving rotation of the vessel about the axis of rotation of the vessel. The drive wheel includes a plurality of rollers that are received between the sprocket teeth of the sprocket. The rollers each have a roller diameter and a roller axis. The rollers are rotatable about their respective roller axes. The drive wheel has a drive wheel pitch diameter defined by the roller axes. The sprocket addendum diameter is equal to the sprocket pitch diameter plus a distance equal to at least 1.0 times the roller diameter.
