Separation device
A device for separating the constituents of a fluid medium includes an element for separating the constituents, helping to define, upstream and/or downstream from the separation element, a closed chamber, to which at least one conduit is connected. The conduit includes at least one activatable sealing device, the activation of which is capable of at least partially closing and opening the conduit. The device also includes a controller for the activation of the sealing device, controlling the closing and opening, at least partially, of the conduit cyclically, at a frequency greater than 0.008 Hz.

Minerals processing
A minerals processing unit, such as a vibrating screen (10), is described. The vibrating screen (10) comprises a sensing mechanism operable to detect: (i) motion of the vibrating screen (10) in multiple directions, and (ii) detect planar deviations of a mesh surface (22). The sensing mechanism may comprise a plurality of discrete sensors (60-66), including a gyroscopic sensor (60) operable to detect linear movement in three mutually orthogonal directions, and one or more of roll, pitch, and yaw. The sensing mechanism may further comprise a temperature sensor (64a, 64b) for measuring the temperature of a drive mechanism (42) and an ambient temperature sensor (66a, 66b) for measuring a control value to compare with the drive mechanism temperature.
Material handling processing machine having interchangeable components for providing multi-functionality
A material handling machine includes a substantially cylindrical tub having an inlet and outlet where the tub includes a ring configured internally to the tub. A hopper is used for directing materials entering the inlet and a grate covers the inlet for controlling the amount of material into the tub. An impeller is rotated using a motor for processing material singulated by the impeller and a basket sifts material from the impeller. The impeller is supported by the main spindle such that the at least one impeller and basket are interchangeable depending on the type of material.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING AGGREGATE FOR A CONCRETE TOPPING SLAB
A base supports an inclined screen having a uniform mesh selected to remove larger aggregate from a first cement mixture to form a second cement mixture that passes through the screen. A powered vibrator vibrates the screen to separate the concrete mixtures and larger aggregate. Springs and/or dampers in support legs isolate the vibrating screen from the base. A guide frame on the top surface of the screen guides the first concrete mixture along the screen and guide the separated aggregate out a bottom opening into an aggregate container. A support frame on the bottom surface of the screen stiffens the screen to help support the weight of the concrete. A concrete container, preferably wheeled, is below the screen to collect the second concrete mixture and move it to its use location.
Feed hopper for a material processing device
A feed hopper for a material processing device, in particular for a crusher (10), having two side walls (21) and a rear wall of the hopper (22), wherein the side walls (21) are directly or indirectly coupled to a machine support (12.1) in a swiveling manner and can be converted from a set-up work position to a folded-down transport position and back, wherein a feed area is formed between the side walls (21), and wherein at least one of the side walls (21) is supported relative to the machine support (12.1) in the set-up work position by a supporting device (30). A support lever (31), which in the work position is supported directly or indirectly in relation to the machine support (12.1) by a detachable form-fit connection, wherein the form-fit connection prevents the side wall (21) from folding down, projects into the feed area in the folded-down transport position. In this way, a space-saving design is also achieved in the folded-down transport position.
