Method and system for use of telemedicine-enabled rehabilitative equipment for prediction of secondary disease
A computer-implemented system may include a treatment device configured to be manipulated by a user while the user is performing a treatment plan, a patient interface comprising an output device configured to present telemedicine information associated with a telemedicine session, and a first computing device configured to: receive treatment data pertaining to the user while the user uses the treatment device to perform the treatment plan; identify at least one aspect of the at least one measurement pertaining to the user associated with a first treatment device mode of the treatment device; determine whether the at least one aspect of the measurement correlates with a secondary condition of the user; and, in response to a determination that the at least one aspect of the at least one measurement is correlated with the at least one secondary condition of the user, generate secondary condition information indicating at least the secondary condition.
Detection of myocardial contractions indicative of perfusion
A system for assisting with a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) treatment being administered to a patient. In one aspect, the system includes electrodes to provide an ECG signal of the patient, one or more sensors configured to measure an intrinsic myocardial wall movement of the patient, and one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to perform operations including: during the CPR treatment being administered to the patient, receiving an input from the sensor(s), processing the input from the sensor(s) and the ECG signal, determining, based on processing, whether the intrinsic myocardial wall movement is indicative of a perfusion movement of the patient's heart, and providing an indication to a user of the system based on the determination.
SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING A BODY PART OF A USER
Support device (1) for supporting at least one body part of a user at least in portions, optionally completely, comprising a support body (2), which comprises at least one support region (3) for supporting at least one body part of a user at least in portions, optionally completely, wherein at least the support region (3) has, at least in portions, optionally completely, a geometric-structural design that is individually configured on the basis of the data describing at least one body part of a user that is to be supported on the support region (3) at least in portions, optionally completely.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS TO REDUCE BRAIN DAMAGE
A method to improve neurologically-intact survival rates after cardiac arrest may include performing CPR on an individual in cardiac arrest while the individual is in a supine position in general alignment with a horizontal plane. The method may include elevating the individual's head, shoulders, and heart relative to the individual's lower body while the individual's lower body remains generally aligned with the horizontal plane to cause blood to actively drain venous blood from the brain to reduce intracranial pressure. The method may include performing chest compressions on the individual and actively decompressing the individual's chest while the individual's head, shoulders, and heart are elevated.
ANALYSING SYMMETRY OF LIMB FUNCTION
Systems and methods for analysis of symmetry between sides of a body. A wearable device includes a body mounting portion structured and arranged to, in use, be mounted to one or more parts of a body of a patient on one side of the body. The wearable device includes at least one sensor configured to output a signal indicative of at least one physiological parameter from a side of the body to which the wearable device is mounted. At least one processor is configured to receive at least one physiological parameter from the wearable device while mounted to a first side of the body, and at least one physiological parameter from the wearable device while mounted to a second side of the body. An indicator of symmetry between the first side and the second side of the body is determined based at least in part on the at least one physiological parameter from the first side of the body and the at least one physiological parameter from the second side of the body.
Systems, apparatus, and methods for documenting code blue scenarios
An apparatus may be configured for providing feedback to caregivers during a code blue scenario when adhered to the chest of a subject undergoing resuscitation by sensing and transmitting information associated with the code blue scenario. Such information may include one or more of vital signs of the subject during resuscitation, information associated with chest movements of the subject during resuscitation, and audio information from an environment of the subject during resuscitation. One or more processors may generate real-time feedback for communication to the caregivers during the code blue scenario based on the sensed and transmitted information.
MEDICAL RADAR SYSTEM FOR GUIDING CARDIAC RESUSCITATION
Medical radar devices, including ultra-wideband (UWB) devices, for use in assisting and/or guiding cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by indicating one or more of: compression depth, compression frequency, and a return to spontaneous circulation. The devices and methods described herein may use reflected energy applied to a patient's chest to determine cardiac motion and/or chest compression and provide feedback to the person applying the CPR. In some variations the device is incorporated as a part of another resuscitation device, such as a defibrillator or automatic compression device.
MASSAGE APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD CAPABLE OF DERIVING A PARAMETER OF AN INDIVIDUAL
Disclosed is a massage apparatus including a processor configurable to receive a first dataset associated with a physio-logical parameter of an individual to derive a first emotional indication of the individual; wherein the first emotional indication and the first dataset are configured as inputs to derive a second emotional indication of the individual.
Method and system for creating an immersive enhanced reality-driven exercise experience for a user
A computer-implemented system may include a treatment device configured to be manipulated by a user while the user is performing a treatment plan, a patient interface. and a computing device configured to: receive treatment data pertaining to the user who uses the treatment device to perform the treatment plan; identify at least one enhanced component using the treatment data; generate an enhanced environment using the at least one enhanced component and the treatment plan; output at least one aspect of the enhanced environment to at least one of the patient interface and another interface; receive subsequent treatment data pertaining to the user; and selectively modify at least one of the enhanced environment and at least one of the at least one aspect of the treatment plan and any other aspect of the treatment plan using the subsequent treatment data.
