System for sorting materials with vacuum apparatus

A system for sorting materials comprising a sorting apparatus comprising a handling tool and a robotized arm for displacing the handling tool over the materials; and a vacuum apparatus creating a depression and having a tubing extending from a source for the depression to the handling tool where the tubing for the vacuum apparatus ends and where it defines a diameter. The handling tool is adapted to be displaced to a selected item among the materials and perform a contact therewith with the end of the tubing for the vacuum apparatus for either: grabbing the selected item if the selected item is larger than the diameter; or sucking up the selected item if the selected item is smaller than the diameter, wherein sucking up the selected item has the selected item travel under the effect of the vacuum apparatus.

Apparatus for inspecting magazine including stopper

Provided is an apparatus for inspecting a magazine including a plurality of partially-finished products. The apparatus is configured to inspect a stopper of the magazine before providing the magazine to a packaging process, and further configured to classify the stopper into a normal product. The magazine comprising the stopper classified as the normal product is into the packaging process.

METHOD FOR TESTING AIRTIGHTNESS OF BATTERY CELLS
20250183379 · 2025-06-05 ·

Provided is a method for testing airtightness of battery cells, configured for testing the airtightness of the battery cells before liquid injection to screen out NG products. The method adds the pretesting of the battery cells before the initial testing and retesting of the battery cells, so that NG battery cells with a large leakage rate can be screened out in advance, thereby reducing the number of battery cells to be tested entering the following initial testing and retesting of the battery cells, and reducing the equipment area occupied by the retesting working station. Further, the method can achieve fast-paced helium testing and loading/unloading through two chambers that can perform helium testing, loading and unloading alternately, shortening the waiting time for mechanical actions during the initial testing, improving the efficiency of the helium testing, and further enhancing the overall work efficiency of the production line.

Device for sorting a container, and associated facility and method

A device is for sorting a container for a conveyor. The container includes an electronic chip storing at least one data item relating to the container or to the chip. The conveyor is capable of driving the container and has a first and a second path. The sorting device includes a chip reader configured to read the stored data, which can be referred to as read data. The device also has an arm, which is movable between a first position and at least one guiding position. In the guiding position, the arm is configured to force the container of the first path to follow the second path. The device further includes a calculator adapted to output a control law for the arm, which controls the position of the arm and depends on the read data.

Multi-check in-line container inspection system

Techniques for a multi-check in-line container inspection system are provided herein. In an example, a computer system determines, during movement of a container in a scanning tunnel, first sensor data generated by a first sensor attached to a frame that forms the scanning tunnel. The movement is caused by material handling equipment. The computer system determines, during the movement of the container in the scanning tunnel, second sensor data generated by a second sensor attached to the frame. The computer system performs a first container integrity check based on the first sensor data and a second container integrity check based on the second sensor data. The computer system causes a corrective action to be initiated based on at least one of the first container integrity check or the second container integrity check indicating a container defect.

Machine-assisted inspection of sealable bags

A machine-assisted determination of whether a sealable bag is or is not properly sealed, wherein a surface or surfaces of the sealable bag is contactlessly scanned as the sealable bag is conveyed past an inspection station so as to obtain a depth map describing a surface profile topology of the scanned surface. The depth map of the scanned surface of the sealable bag is provided to the input layer of a trained neural network so as to obtain a classification output from the neural network signifying whether the seal on the sealable bag is or is not intact. The sealable bag is sorted to a discard station responsive to a classification output that signifies that the seal on the sealable bag is not intact and is sorted to a packaging station responsive to a classification output that signifies that the seal on the sealable bag is intact.
