Separation of ferrous materials
A sorting apparatus is provided for sorting selected magnetically attractable articles from a stream of articles including non-selected magnetically attractable articles. The apparatus may include a conveyor for conveying the stream of articles. The conveyor may include a conveyor belt formed in an endless loop including a discharge end configured to launch the stream of articles off the conveyor. A conveyor guide may be located inside of the endless loop adjacent the discharge end. The conveyor guide may be configured to support the conveyor belt such that the conveyor belt slides on the conveyor guide along a downwardly curved path. An array of magnets may be arranged inside of the endless loop for interacting with the stream of articles as the stream of articles passes off the discharge end.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INSPECTING AN OBJECT
An apparatus (1) for inspecting an object, where the object is made up of a first layer of plastic material and a second layer of EVO or EVOH and has a base wall (A) and a side wall (B) which is inclined relative to the base wall (A), comprises: an inspection zone (10) in which the object can be placed for inspection; a conveyor (12) for feeding the object to the inspection zone (10) along a feed plane (P); an imaging device (14) configured to view the object positioned in the inspection zone (10) and to generate an image (143) of the object; a processor (151), configured to process the image (143), to inspect the second layer. The conveyor (12) is configured to dispose the object in the inspection zone (10) with the base wall (A) positioned according to a predetermined orientation relative to the feed plane (P).
CAPSULE INSPECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention relates to an inspection system for confirming whether a capsule is defective and, more particularly, a large quantity of capsules flowing in from the outside is randomly supplied to a moving part by means of a hopper part, the moving part transfers, to a discharge part by means of a plurality of rollers, the large quantity of capsules fed by means of the hopper part so that a controller can distinguish between the good-quality and defective capsules on the basis of an image captured by means of a vision part and discharge same, a gap is formed between the rollers so that the plurality of fed capsules are randomly loaded and horizontally aligned in the gap, and the vision part can capture still images of the rotating capsules that are horizontally aligned and loaded in the gap, while the rollers rotate/stop through a driving part according to the repeated going/stopping of the moving part.
AUTOMATED FOOD SELECTION USING HYPERSPECTRAL SENSING
A solution for automated food selection includes: an order processing component operable to receive an order identifying an item; a selection component comprising: a first hyperspectral sensor operable to sense a reflection from the item and produce a sensor output based at least on the reflection; and a picking mechanism; a control component operable to: based at least on identification of the item, select a hyperspectral profile from a set of hyperspectral profiles; compare the sensor output with the selected hyperspectral profile; and based at least on the comparison, determine whether to select the item for fulfillment of the order, wherein the picking mechanism is operable to divert the item to a selection output based at least on a determination to select the item for fulfillment of the order; and a transport component operable to transport the item to an order storage zone.
IDENTIFICATION APPARATUS
Provided is an identification apparatus wherein each spectral light beam corresponding to a predetermined wavenumber shift is projected to the imaging portion) so that a distance between a projection position of the spectral light beam corresponding to the predetermined wavenumber shift on the imaging portion and a changed projection position as a result of the different excitation wavelength is shorter than a distance at the imaging lens between an optical path of the spectral light beam corresponding to the predetermined wavenumber shift and a changed optical path as a result of the different excitation wavelength.
TOFU PRODUCTION SYSTEM
A tofu production system includes: a production device configured to continuously produce tofu; a conveyance device configured to arrange the tofu produced by the production device according to a predetermined rule corresponding to the tofu and convey the tofu; a tofu inspection device configured to inspect the tofu on the conveyance device; and a sorting and removing device configured to sort or remove a defective product in the tofu being conveyed by the conveyance device based on an inspection result of the tofu inspection device.

METHOD FOR AUTOMATED PRODUCTION OF READY-TO-EAT FLOUR-BASED CULINARY PRODUCT
The invention relates to the food industry. A method includes generating, via a server of a system, a selected order for processing by a control computer, as a result of which the necessary food base, which is located in a refrigerating unit, is sent to a first transport device where specific food ingredients are added in a prescribed manner, said ingredients being released from containers mounted above the first transport device. After this, the partially finished product is transferred to a second transport device, and, while moving along it, is baked to a finished condition in a baking unit. Then the baked product is transferred to a packaging sub-system which is connected to a sub-system for temporary storage and dispensing of the finished and packaged product.
Grain separation automation and processing equipment and possible materials of identification, classification and quantification of the same; application of process and use of equipment
The present application is related to the process of automation of separation by identification, classification and quantification of grains and their possible pertinent materials through equipment that performs such events, aiming at the automation of the whole chain of separation, identification and classification. grain, thus eliminating the human action of the process and thus avoiding errors related to human interaction in the process. This process has 4 steps, as follows: grain and impurities entering the equipment; separation of impurities and grains: grain processing and qualitative and quantitative identification of grains and impurities. The process and equipment can be applied to the separation by identification, classification and quantification of grains such as soybeans, corn, among others, and their possible pertinent materials.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR THE AUTOMATIC CLASSIFICATION OF ROCKS ACCORDING TO THEIR MINERALS
The present disclosure refers to methods and system for classifying rocks according to their minerals from the processing of color images and hyperspectral images. The methods and systems of this disclosure achieve an efficient and low-cost classification of rocks with minerals. In particular, the method uses classification methods that take color images and hyperspectral images and give as a result a probability that the rock or rocks present in said images are suitable or waste.
