A METHOD FOR TREATING TOUGHNESS AND HARDNESS OF DRILL BIT BUTTONS
A method, performed by a centrifuge, for treating toughness and hardness of drill bit buttons is provided. The centrifuge comprises a chamber formed by a stationary side wall and a bottom which is rotatable around a rotation axis, the bottom comprising one or more protrusions which at least partly extends between the rotation axis and the side wall, the side wall comprising at least six pushing elements arranged around a periphery of the side wall. The method comprises rotating, by rotation of the bottom with the protrusions, the drill bit buttons around the rotation axis, pushing, by the pushing elements, the drill bit buttons from the side wall during the rotation of the bottom, collectively forming the drill bit buttons into a torus shape at the bottom of the chamber for inducing collisions between the drill bit buttons, thereby treating the toughness and hardness of the drill bit.

An apparatus (10) for use in the treatment of at least one substrate with a multiplicity of solid particles comprising: a) a housing (20) in which a drum (40) is rotatably mounted; b) a door (60) moveable between an open position wherein the at least one substrate can be placed in the drum and a closed position wherein the apparatus is substantially sealed; c) a separator (100) mounted in the door, wherein the separator comprises a perforated portion; d) a flow pathway pipe (110) mounted on or in the housing, wherein the flow pathway pipe comprises an outlet (140); and e) pumping means (210) configured to pump treatment liquor and a multiplicity of solid particles from a first location through the flow pathway pipe and out of the outlet towards the separator; wherein the separator is arranged to direct the multiplicity of solid particles into the drum and wherein the separator is further arranged to direct a portion of the treatment liquor to a location other than the drum.

The upper tray (30) is shaped and dimensioned such that at least a part thereof is accommodated in the first compartment (V1) of the lower tray (20). System and method for recycling animal bedding material
A system and method for cleaning used animal bedding generally made up of wood chips, manure, and urine. Large manure and debris are first separated from the used animal bedding. The remaining used animal bedding material is then mixed with a liquid to form a slurry. The slurry particlesother than the wood chipsare then reduced in size to facilitate the separation of the wood chips from the other slurry particles. Once separated, the wood chips can be reused as animal bedding. This system and method also provides for further processing of the remaining slurry particles into other products, such as mulch, fertilizer, and clean water.

ULTRASONIC CLEANING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A cleaning system and method use an ultrasound probe, a coupling mechanism, and a controller to clean equipment of a vehicle system. The ultrasound probe enters into an engine. The ultrasound probe emits ultrasound pulses and the coupling mechanism provides an ultrasound coupling medium between the ultrasound probe and one or more components of the engine. The controller drives the ultrasound probe to deliver the ultrasound pulse through the coupling medium to a surface of the one or more components of the engine. The ultrasound probe delivers the ultrasound pulse to remove deposits from the one or more components of the engine.

The deposition mask cleaning apparatus includes a treated water bath containing treated water in which a deposition mask is immersed; a treated water generation part supplying the treated water to the treated water bath; a treated water supply pipe connecting the treated water bath and the treated water generation part; and a bubble generation part disposed in the treated water supply pipe and generating bubbles in the treated water. The treated water includes at least one of ozone water, hydrogen water, ammonia hydrogen water, and carbonated water. The bubbles include at least one of microbubbles having a bubble diameter of about 50 m or less and nanobubbles having a bubble diameter of about 1 m or less.
Pacifier cleaning and storage apparatus
A pacifier cleaning and storing apparatus is disclosed to have three main elements: an upper section, a center section and a lower section. Within the upper section is a pump with a water inlet and an adjustable spray nozzle. Within the lower section is an internal support member that is located at the substantial midpoint of the lower section. The apparatus can be opened, and a pacifier can be placed on the internal support member. Clean water is put into the center section, and when a resilient member on the upper sections is squeezed and downward pressure is applied, the water is forced through the inlet into the pump. The water is then sprayed, onto the pacifier. Once the pacifier has been cleaned, it can be removed, or remain within the apparatus.
