SIEVING APPARATUSES FOR PUPAE SEPARATION
A sieving apparatus for separating insect pupa is described. In an example, the sieving apparatus includes a sieving device attached to an actuation system. The sieving device includes a set of openings sized to correspond to a cross-sectional cephalothorax width of a representative pupa of a population of insect pupae to be separated. The actuation system is configured to move the sieving device in a manner that causes smaller insect pupae to pass through the set of openings. Larger insect pupae remain within the sieving device. Such movement can include moving the sieving device with respect to a liquid held in a basin of the sieving apparatus.
Immersion/spray rinse system and methods of use
Provided herein are systems, methods and apparatuses for an immersion and spray rinsing system comprising a tank with improved cleanliness of the parts between immersion and spray.
System and method for recovering base and precious metals
A system for recovering precious metals includes a rotatable drum, recyclable materials, and a separating solution. The rotatable drum is configured to receive recyclable materials. The recyclable materials include non-metallic materials and electronic components, with one or both of the non-metallic materials and the electronic components having attached thereto one or both of base metals and precious metals. The separating solution is disposed in the rotatable drum and is configured to separate the base metals and the precious metals from the electronic components and the non-metallic materials and to separate the electronic components from the non-metallic materials. The rotatable drum is configured to agitate the recyclable materials and to wash the recyclable materials with the separating solution. The electronic components, non-metallic materials, base metals, and precious metals are each separately removable from the separating solution.
WASHER
A parts washer for washing parts includes a housing defining an interior that receives the parts. The interior includes a washing fluid reservoir to hold a washing fluid, the washing fluid reservoir having a washing fluid fill level. A soak basket receives the parts and is disposed in the washing fluid reservoir such that at least a portion of the soak basket is disposed below the washing fluid fill level for soaking the parts when the reservoir is filled with washing fluid. A part support platform is in the interior of the housing. The part support platform has a part support surface for supporting some of the parts thereon. The part support surface is above the washing fluid fill level. A washing system washes the parts on the part support surface.

Immersion Systems & Methods for Washing & Performing Other Tasks
Systems and methods for washing and thawing objects, such as vegetables and fruits, where large amounts of lifting of heavy items is minimized, complex and expensive pumping and manifold systems and structures are not required; and system cost and daily maintenance is reduced. The system includes a structure for holding a volume of fluid, a vertical motion structure driven by an electric motor or the like that raises and lowers a basket carrier between an elevated position and a lowered position. In the lowered position, one or more baskets are positioned on a basket carrier and are repeatedly lowered into and raised from the volume of fluid.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CLEANING MACHINES
The present disclosure may provide a cleaning apparatus for cleaning parts. The cleaning apparatus may comprise a housing defining a washing chamber having an opening through which parts may be loaded/unloaded into the washing chamber. The cleaning apparatus may also comprise a spray system adapted to direct a washing solution to clean the part in the washing chamber. The spray system may comprise a spray array with at least one rotatable spray head. The spray head may comprise a plurality of nozzles through which the washing solution is directed to clean the part in the washing chamber. The cleaning apparatus may also comprise a closure which may provide controlled access to the washing chamber through the opening and may be movable between a closed position to sealingly close the opening and an open position so as to allow for loading and unloading of parts into the washing chamber without obstruction.
Reprocessing apparatus and a method of reprocessing a load in a reprocessing apparatus
A reprocessing apparatus for washing and cleaning a load comprising a reprocessing chamber, a buffer tank, a buffer tank valve and recirculation valve, fluid distribution devices and plurality of pumps, at least one ultrasonic transducer and a drainage system characterised by said buffer tank is supplied with fresh water and process chemical where buffer tank holds fresh process fluid that is pumped to at least one fluid distribution device and directly into the load, the drainage system for discharging process fluids and recirculation loop for pumping said fluid back the reprocessing chamber, and a method of reprocessing a load in a reprocessing apparatus characterised by that fresh water is mixed with process chemicals externally to said chamber in the buffer tank and delivered to said chamber through fluid distribution devices and internal connecting lines while simultaneously washing the load internally and externally and discharging the fluid from the reprocessing chamber.
Holder for disinfection of tonometer tips or the like and method of use
A holder device for holding a plurality of tonometer tips or the like during a disinfection procedure has a top wall, spaced rims extending downward from the top wall to engage a support surface and hold the top wall above the support surface, and handle portions extending upwards from the top wall. The top wall has a plurality of spaced holes of predetermined diameter each configured to hold a tip extending partially through the hole with a lower end of the tip spaced above a support surface. A cover plate is releasably secured between the handle portions at a location spaced above the top wall after loading the holes with tips, and holds the tips in the holes while at least a major portion of the device is submerged in a bath of disinfectant.
Portable Parts Washer
A portable parts washer for cleaning mechanical parts that includes a washer body having an upper portion, a lower portion, and a wash basin formed within the upper portion having inner sidewalls, a floor panel and at least one drain aperture. The portable parts washer also includes an in-use reservoir formed within the lower portion of the washer body and having a bottom panel spaced from the floor panel and outer sidewalls, and which is configured to receive cleaning fluid from the wash basin through the drain aperture when the floor panel is in a substantially horizontal orientation. The portable parts washer further includes a storage reservoir formed within the upper and lower portions and which is configured to contain the cleaning fluid from the in-use reservoir when the floor panel is rotated to a substantially vertical orientation.
