A dust removal device capable of normally dedusting a surface of a sheet-shaped object having an edge portion of a shape with protruding parts continuously arranged at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction, that is, a dust removal device discharging a gas to a surface of a sheet-shaped object 100 from a discharge outlet while drawing in the gas above the surface of the sheet-shaped object 100 through a suction inlet, the discharge outlet including a first discharge outlet 30 for discharging the gas to portions of the sheet-shaped object 100 other than the edge portion and a second discharge outlet 35 for discharging the gas to the edge portion 100b of the sheet-shaped object 10, and the suction inlet including a first suction inlet (31, 32) for drawing in the gas above the surface of the portions of the sheet-shaped object 100 other than the edge portion 100b and a second suction inlet (33, 34) for drawing in the gas of the surface of the edge portion 100b of the sheet-shaped object 100.

Apparatus for cleaning engine deposits

An apparatus for cleaning a combustion engine is disclosed wherein a cable is coupled to an on-board diagnostic port on the vehicle, and a service hose with a misting nozzle adapter is coupled to a first port on a vehicle. A controller monitors data from the on-board diagnostic port on a vehicle, where the data preferably includes the engine rpm, the catalytic convertor temperature, the engine coolant temperature, the MAF, and the MAP. The controller monitors information from the cleaning apparatus, and the information is processed to adjust the dispensing of the cleaning solution. The adjustment of the cleaning solution can vary the rate, volume, pressure, pulse interval, flow pattern, and duration of the solution in the engine.

REMOVING BUILD MATERIAL PARTICLES

An example of an apparatus to decake a 3D printed part is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a housing including at least a conduit connectable to a gas source and at least a channel connectable to a vacuum source. The conduit, when in use, is to direct a gas flow to remove un-solidified build material particles from a surface of a 3D printed part. The channel, when in use, is to direct an airflow that generally surrounds the gas flow to extract the removed un-solidified build material particles.

OBJECT CLEANING

According to one aspect, there is provided a method of cleaning a 3D object on a platform. The method comprises generating with a cleaning module a cleaning airflow to remove powder particles from a 3D object and an extraction airflow to extract any removed powder particles, determining a quantity of powder particles in the extraction airflow, and moving the cleaning module relative to the platform based on the determined quantity of powder particles.

There is provided a cleaning nozzle that cleans a cleaning target face that is one of a holding face that holds a workpiece and/or a surface of the workpiece held on the holding face. The cleaning nozzle includes an air nozzle having an jet port for jetting air toward the cleaning target face and extending in a direction parallel to the cleaning target face, and a suction nozzle having a suction port for sucking air on the cleaning target face and arranged adjacent to and in parallel to the air nozzle.

Dedusting of Wood Boards by Use of Two Counter-Rotating Pairs of Brushes With a Vacuum System

A deduster is comprised of two sets (pairs) of counter-rotating dedusting brushes in co-operation with a vacuum system for saw dust removal from wooden lumber. In addition to these features, the deduster may feature a separate, movable, top brush assembly that can be easily adjusted for different board thicknesses and raised up to allow for clearing board jams and for pass-through if boards were to be run without dedusting. This deduster apparatus is modular, thereby allowing it to be positioned over an existing machine or a lumber board unscrambler machine such as a lugged unscrambler machine.

Device maintenance in semiconductor manufacturing environment

A system for maintaining a device in a semiconductor manufacturing environment that includes a controller configured to determine a distance travelled by the device within the semiconductor manufacturing environment, where the device has a feature that selectively engages a carrier configured to carry a semiconductor wafer such that the device moves the semiconductor wafer to different processing stations within the semiconductor manufacturing environment. The system also includes an inspection component configured to inspect the device responsive to the distance travelled by the device exceeding a distance threshold, a repair component configured to repair the device responsive to a repair indication from at least one of the controller or the inspection component, and a cleaning component configured to clean the device responsive to a clean indication from at least one of the controller or the inspection component.
