Treatment method for a service water supply unit
Method for treating a service water supply unit of a dental treatment unit, wherein the method has the following sequence of treatment steps: cleaning the service water supply unit using a cleaning agent, preferably a cleaning liquid or a cleaning foam; disinfecting the service water supply unit using a disinfecting agent, preferably a disinfecting liquid.
System and method of sterilely connecting fluid pathways
A sterile tube connector for a fluid circuit system comprising a housing. A first opening is configured to receive a first length of tubing in communication with a first chamber. A second opening is configured for communicating with the first chamber when the tube connector is in an open configuration but not in a closed configuration. The second opening is configured to reversibly engage a third opening to form a second chamber. The third opening is configured for communicating with a second length of tubing. A first portion of the housing forming the first opening comprises a material at least partially permeable to a sterilization energy source for sterilizing contents of the second chamber.
Extrusion orifice cleaning
Described is a self-cleaning extrusion orifice assembly including an enclosure, a cylindrical body inserted into the enclosure and terminated by an extrusion orifice. The self-cleaning extrusion orifice assembly is operated by a pressurized air flow. The pressurized air flow flushes surfaces of some elements of self-cleaning extrusion orifice assembly removing debris that could be deposited on these surfaces. In addition, some elements of self-cleaning extrusion orifice assembly are configured to scrape extrusion process debris from the same surfaces.
Device for cleaning steam wand of a beverage brewing apparatus
Disclosed is a device and method for cleaning a steam wand of a beverage brewing apparatus. The device includes a first reservoir, a larger elastically deformable reservoir, a scrubbing means, a first one-way valve, and a second one-way valve. The first reservoir is adapted to closely encapsulate the steam wand. The first reservoir is open at one end to receive the steam wand. The larger elastically deformable reservoir is adapted to contain a larger sterile portion of a cleaning solution. The scrubbing means adapted to mechanically loosen milk residue through a scrubbing action. The first one-way valve is operable to connect the larger elastically deformable reservoir to the first reservoir. The second one-way valve is operable to allow air to flow into the larger elastically deformable reservoir.
TOOL FOR REMOVING ARTICLES FROM A DRAIN
A tool for removing articles from a drain includes a rod that has a first end, a second end and a peripheral surface extending between the first and second ends. A hook is attached to and extends away from the first end of the rod. A magnet is attached to the second end of the rod.
Pipe Cleaning Device
A pipe cleaning device is shown and described. The pipe cleaning device includes a handle member which has an interior volume. The handle member is attached to a head member. The head member has an aperture located through the middle thereof. The aperture is lined with a movable wire brush which rotates around the interior of the aperture. The head member further contains a brush motor. The brush motor circulates the brush around the interior of the aperture.
Hand removable, clip on wax guards
Guards for a space access device are configured to be attached to, as well as removed from the space access device by hand, without the need to resort to any tools to perform the attachment or the removal. A distal guard includes at least first and second filters separated by at least one convoluted pathway, and also includes outwardly extending members projecting outwardly from a base of the distal guard. A proximal guard forms at least one convoluted pathway with a cap forming a proximal end of the space access device. A pull tab provides redundancy against failure. The pull tab may be incorporated into the distal guard.
Foreign object inspection device and foreign object inspection method
A foreign object inspection device determines the position and the shape of foreign objects remaining on a workpiece. The foreign object inspection device for inspecting foreign objects at inspection spots of a workpiece includes a nozzle including a suction port that sucks a foreign object, an exhauster, and a suction channel connecting the nozzle to the exhauster, and a detector installed on the suction channel to detect foreign object information about the shape of the foreign object sucked through the suction port.
Tool and method for cleaning a valve body of a control valve
A tool and a method are provided for cleaning a sealing surface of a valve body. The tool includes a stem adapted to be disposed in the valve body, at least one cleaning element coupled to the stem, and a handle operatively coupled to the at least one cleaning element via the stem. The at least one cleaning element includes at least one cleaning surface adapted to engage the sealing surface when the stem is disposed in the valve body. The at least one cleaning element is movable responsive to actuation of the handle such that the at least one cleaning surface cleans the sealing surface of the valve body.
Cutting tool cleaning accessory
The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical devices and medical device accessories. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a tool or accessory for cleaning a medical device. For example, the tool or accessory may clean a fluid delivery lumen of an endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) knife. The tool or accessory may include a housing with a first portion of an elongate member secured within a first portion of the housing and a second portion of the elongate member extending into a chamber of the housing.
