Stormwater vault servicing process
10166577 · 2019-01-01 ·

A stormwater vault and a process for servicing the stormwater vault speeds the process of cleaning a stormwater vault. The stormwater vault has a built in liquefaction system for liquefying settled debris in the vault which works together with a sloped or angled floor in the vault. The settled debris is flushed toward the inlet to a vacuum removal line inserted into the vault through an access opening for removing the settled debris from the vault.

Elevated potable water tank and tower rotary cleaning system
10130977 · 2018-11-20 ·

A system for vacuuming out sediment when installed on the inside of a gravity feed, elevated potable water tank or tower holding water at a pressure head of the kind having a riser serving as a water inlet and outlet. The system having a rotating manifold driven by a rotational drive mechanism installed along the bottom wall of the tank or tower connected to a plurality of downwardly directed nozzles. The rotating manifold is connected to a drain pipe passing down through the or alongside the tank riser and is supported so that the nozzles are positioned above the bottom wall in the vicinity of the sediment. When water is allowed to flow through the drain pipe, the pressure head causes sediment which may otherwise be a health risk and promote electrolytic corrosion to be vacuumed out by the nozzles.

Portable suction nozzle and holster therefor

A portable suction nozzle for removing layers of fat, oil and grease (FOG), scum, sludge and the like from the surface or bottom of tanks used in water and sewage treatment plants, septic systems and the like. The device can be used by an operator working in such environments, as well as honey wagon operators, oil spill response teams and the like. The device can be held in place by a holster arrangement mounted to a tank to be cleaned.

Diffused aeration systems and methods for cleaning fouled diffusers in aeration systems

A method for cleaning and preventing diffuser membrane fouling of an aeration system can include: transporting a liquid acidic solution into a downcomer pipe or a purge line positioned in a reservoir of an aeration system containing a body of water such that the liquid acidic solution flows into a manifold and air distribution pipes; allowing the liquid acidic solution to vaporize; and blowing the vaporized acidic solution into a plurality of diffusers supported by the air distribution pipes. An aeration system that can implement the method is also included.

The present invention relates generally to a method to determine one or more properties in a water storage facility and/or a water treatment facility. In one embodiment, the present invention relates to a method to determine one or more chemical and/or physical properties in a water storage facility vessel and/or a water treatment facility vessel and then use such one or more chemical and/or physical properties to determine where, if need be, any sand or other sediment needs to be removed from any such water storage facility vessels and/or a water treatment facility vessels.

Method for sterilizing water treatment apparatus having plurality of tanks
10071402 · 2018-09-11 · ·

Provided is a method for sterilizing a water treatment apparatus having a plurality of tanks. The method includes, performing a sterilization preparation process to drain purified water from the first tank until a first amount of purified water is left, performing a sterilizing process to sterilize the first tank by supplying the sterilized water supplied from the sterilizing module, to drain water from the first tank through a first water outlet pipe until a second amount of water is left in the first tank, and to drain the second amount of water remaining in the first tank into the second tank through a second water outlet pipe.

A self-cleaning component assembly includes a fluid containment vessel, an ultrasonic transducer fixed to a wall of the fluid containment vessel, and a germicidal light source fixed to the component such that germicidal light is directed to an internal cavity of the fluid containment vessel.

IRRIGATION DEVICE AND SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR USING THE SAME

An irrigation device, including: a rain barrel; a water pump; a humidity detector; a permeable pipe; a control unit; a first valve; a second valve; a cleaning unit. The permeable pipe includes a plurality of circumferentially-distributed bores. The rain barrel, the water pump, the first valve and the permeable pipe are connected sequentially. The humidity detector is adapted to detect a humidity of a green land. The humidity detector and the permeable pipe are disposed in the green land. The rain barrel is connected to a municipal sewage pipe via the second valve. The cleaning unit is disposed in the rain barrel for cleaning the inner wall of the rain barrel. The first valve, the second valve, the humidity detector, and the cleaning unit are all electrically connected to the control unit.

WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROL METHOD

A washing machine comprises a flocculation container for performing flocculation treatment on washing water. At least one cleaning hairy ball is arranged in the container, a stirring mechanism is arranged in the container, and the stirring mechanism stirs water in the container, so that the cleaning hairy ball moves along with water flow at least in a process of cleaning the container so as to remove flocculates attached to the container. A control method for the washing machine comprises: feeding water to the flocculation container, and starting the stirring mechanism, and allowing the cleaning hairy ball move along with the water flow so as to clean the flocculates attached to the inner of the container. By means of the above device and method, the purpose of removing the flocculates retained in the flocculation container is realized. Besides, the washing machine is simple in structure and has significant effect.

Washing device for water treatment apparatus and washing method thereof

A washing method of a water treatment apparatus is provided. The washing method includes a wash water inflow operation in which wash water flows into circulation members, and a circulation washing operation in which a circulation modulation circulates the wash water through passages of the water treatment apparatus.
