METHOD OF REMOVING FOREIGN MATTER FROM PREFORM AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVING FOREIGN MATTER FROM PREFORM
To facilitate removal of foreign matters from a preform.
While a preform (1) in an inverted position with a mouth portion (2a) thereof facing down is being continuously transferred, filtered air is blasted into the preform (1) through the mouth portion (2a) of the preform (1), and at the same time, air is sucked from the side of the mouth portion (2a) of the preform (1). Foreign matters can be more easily discharged from the preform (1) because of the flow of air and the weight of the foreign matters.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE SELECTIVE EXTRACTION OF VISCOUS HYDROCARBONS FROM TANKS AND OTHER CONTAINERS
The invention proposes a system and a method for the selective extraction of viscous hydrocarbons from tanks and other containers. The system comprises the following components for heating the hydrocarbons: a steam ejector -3-, in which there takes place an eddy diffusion of its drive steam with the gases it aspirates by means of the Venturi effect, and a perimetric heating conduit -5- externally attached to the tank or container. The method comprises the following operations: heating a surface layer of hydrocarbons by means of the gases injected by the steam ejector, causing a selective flow of hot hydrocarbons to the perimetric conduit; localized heating of the hydrocarbons with the perimetric conduit, causing the precipitation of water and a selective flow of the hottest hydrocarbons to an extraction pump; and extracting the precipitated water and the hydrocarbons flowing selectively from the perimetric conduit by means of two pumps.
Cavity Cleaning and Coating System
A cavity cleaning and coating system for safely and efficiently cleaning and coating the interior of a cavity without requiring entry of any workers. The cavity cleaning and coating system generally includes a mount which is coupled with a movable arm of a vehicle. The mount includes an inner plate, which is coupled to the arm, and an outer plate. A shaft is coupled to the outer plate. The mount is adjustable independently of the arm of the vehicle, including outwardly, inwardly, and rotatably. A spray head is connected to the shaft. The spray head is rotatable and includes a dispenser for dispensing fluids. The vehicle is positioned near a cavity to be treated. The mount is adjusted for optimal positioning of the spray head. The spray head is lowered into the cavity to dispense a cleaning fluid and, after the cleaning fluid has dried, a coating fluid.
System and method for treating biomass material
According to the present invention, there is provided a cleaning system for biomass material handling systems and methods for such system. The cleaning system for a biomass material treatment stage in a continuous process system includes a hydrolysis or pre-hydrolysis reactor, a feeding arrangement is arranged to continuously feed biomass material to an inlet of the reactor, wherein reactor includes a reactor screw for moving the biomass material through the reactor and a discharge pipe including a discharge screw for continuously discharging treated biomass material. At least one high-pressure cleaning nozzle is arranged inside a housing of said reactor, wherein the at least one high-pressure cleaning nozzle is arranged to eject cleaning agent at predetermined intervals during operation of the reactor.
MACHINE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE FILTRATION, DISINFECTION AND PURIFICATION OF FUEL IN CONTAMINATED TANKS
A machine, a filtration system and a method for disinfection and purification in fuel tanks located in places with high humidity or high relative humidity, having a machine (1) with an inlet for the fuel from the tank, a filtration system of a coarse-grain filter (2) and a fine-grain filter (2′); a radiation chamber (3) configurable for the application of radiation to the filtered fuel; a pump (4); a flowmeter (5) with at least two electrovalves (17); a centrifuge (6) with a turbine filter (6′) and control via an electrical panel (7); a cleaning machine (1); a suction hose (8) with an extendable suction lance (9); a high-pressure discharge hose (11); a return hose (12); a system for the opening and sealing of the tank (25); and an automatic filter self-cleaning system which reverses the flow, sending the fouled fuel to an additional tank (14) where it is drained.
MIXING UNIT AND METHOD FOR MIXING A LIQUID PRODUCT
A mixing unit (1) for mixing a liquid product (2) includes a tank (3) and a fluid nozzle (4) configured to inject a fluid flow (6, 7) of the liquid product (2) into the tank (3). The fluid nozzle (4) has a first outlet (20) that opens in a sideways direction (S), a second outlet (21) that opens in an upward direction (U), and a valve plug (14) configured to selectively open and close the outlets (20, 21). The mixing unit (1) is operable in a low stage operational mode (9) during which the first outlet (20) is open, the second outlet (21) is closed, and mixing occurs in a lower region (10) of the tank (3), and a high stage operational mode (11) during which the first outlet (20) is closed, the second outlet (21) is open, and mixing occurs in an upper region (12) of the tank (3).
Remotely Operated Vessel Cleaning Apparatus and Method
A vessel cleaning device and method includes an armored chassis with track members operable independently by first and second pneumatic drive systems, and a remotely controllable arm. A plurality of nozzles disposed on the arm are configured to rotate while spraying high pressure liquid in mutually opposed directions when the arm is extended. The device is sized and shaped to pass through a 24-inch opening in the vessel when the arm is collapsed, and the track members and the arm are controllable remotely by an operator external to the vessel. Once the device has passed through the 24-inch opening into the vessel, the arm is movable into the extended position, and the device is movable within the vessel while the nozzles spray liquid along a notional circumference to remove waste materials from an interior surface of the vessel.
