SYSTEMS, APPARATUS, AND METHODS FOR DOCUMENTING CODE BLUE SCENARIOS
An apparatus may be configured for providing feedback to caregivers during a code blue scenario when adhered to the chest of a subject undergoing resuscitation by sensing and transmitting information associated with the code blue scenario. Such information may include one or more of vital signs of the subject during resuscitation, information associated with chest movements of the subject during resuscitation, and audio information from an environment of the subject during resuscitation. One or more processors may generate real-time feedback for communication to the caregivers during the code blue scenario based on the sensed and transmitted information.
TREATMENT DEVICE USING HIGH FREQUENCY
The present invention relates to a treatment device using high frequency and provides a treatment device using high frequency comprising: a main body comprising a high frequency generation portion inside; a contact type handpiece comprising a first electrode portion for providing high frequency energy generated in the high frequency generation portion to the surface of the skin, and is detachably formed at an fastening portion of the main body; an invasive handpiece comprising a second electrode portion for providing high frequency energy generated in the high frequency generation portion to the inside of the skin, and is detachably formed at an fastening portion of the main body; and a control portion for controlling the high frequency energy provided from the high frequency generation portion to the first electrode portion or the second electrode portion.
Methods and systems for diagnosis and treatment of a defined condition, and methods for operating such systems
Disclosed herein, inter alia, are a method, system and a kit for improving a defined condition in a subject, the method comprising selecting a set of one or more correction zones, being surface zones on the surface of the subject's skin or defined angular zones in the subject's field of view, the one or more correction zones being associated with the condition; and placing the one or more correcting elements in said one or more correction zones to thereby cause improvement in said condition. Also provided herein are methods and systems for providing such correction zones related to a defined condition in a subject or to a defined cause in a subject being associated with a defined condition.
EXERCISE MOTION TRACKING ASSEMBLY, EXERCISE MOTION TRACKING SYSTEM, AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
An exercise motion tracking assembly, an exercise motion tracking system, and a method of electronically tracking exercise motion are disclosed. In one embodiment, the exercise motion tracking assembly can comprise a base unit comprising a plurality of trigger columns and a tracker comprising a plurality of column ports, a plurality of switching components, and a plurality of sensors. At least one of the plurality of sensors can be activated when the tracker is detachably coupled to the base unit, causing at least one of the plurality of trigger columns to extend through at least one of the plurality of column ports and actuate at least one of the plurality of switching components.
Devices And Methods For Reducing The Symptoms Of Maladies Of The Vestibular System
Particular vibratory signals are delivered to the vestibular system in order to reduce or prevent symptoms of maladies of the vestibular system.
DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR PROVIDING COMPRESSION AND/OR VIBRATORY FORCES TO TISSUES
Devices that can provide a compressive force and a vibratory force to treat an area are described. In some configurations, the devices can include a substrate that can provide the compressive force and multiple independently controllable actuators that can provide the vibratory force to treat swelling, lymphedema or other conditions.
AMPLITUDE SPECTRUM AREA CONSIDERATIONS FOR AN EXTERNAL MEDICAL MONITORING AND TREATMENT DEVICE
A medical monitoring and treatment device that includes a therapy delivery interface, a plurality of therapy electrodes coupled to the therapy delivery interface, a plurality of electrocardiogram sensing electrodes to sense electrocardiogram signals of a patient, a sensor interface to receive the electrocardiogram signals and digitize the electrocardiogram signals, and at least one processor coupled to the sensor interface and the therapy delivery interface to analyze the digitized electrocardiogram signals, to detect a cardiac arrhythmia based on the digitized electrocardiogram signals, and to control the therapy delivery interface to apply electrical therapy to the patient based upon the detected cardiac arrhythmia. The at least one processor is further configured to analyze a frequency domain transform of the digitized electrocardiogram signals, to determine a metric indicative of a metabolic state of a heart of the patient, and to accelerate or delay application of the electrical therapy based upon the metric.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVING HEART-RATE VARIABILITY
The present invention discloses neuro-stimulation systems and methods for affecting cardiovascular function, particularly for improving heart rate variability and treating arrhythmia.
Apparatus and method for treating a patient using vibration stimuli, tactile stimuli and/or thermal stimuli
A device and method are provided for treating a patient with vibration and/or tactile and/or thermal stimuli. The device includes first and second stimulating units for generating first and second stimuli respectively. The stimuli are vibration and/or tactile and/or thermal stimuli, and each of the stimuli is repeated on average at a frequency of 1 to 60 Hz. The stimuli are generated partly at different times.
Walking assistance methods and apparatuses performing the same
A walking assistance method may include: computing an amount of exercise of a user based on a biosignal of the user; adjusting a pattern of an assist parameter based on the amount of exercise; and/or generating a force corresponding to the amount of exercise, based on the adjusted pattern. A walking assistance apparatus may include: a pattern adjuster configured to compute an amount of exercise of a user based on a biosignal of the user; and/or a driver configured to generate a force corresponding to the amount of exercise based on a pattern of an assist parameter based on the amount of exercise.
