DETERMINING CHEST COMPRESSION DEPTH USING IMPEDANCE
A medical device for indicating a chest compression depth, including a first electrode assembly structured to be disposed on a chest of a patient, a second electrode assembly structured to be disposed on a back of the patient, and a processor configured to determine a chest compression depth as a proportion of chest height based on a first impedance measurement between the first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly when the chest is not compressed and a second impedance measurement between the first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly when the chest is compressed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING DAMPLED ELECTROMAGNETICALLY ACTUATED PLANAR MOTION FOR AUDI-FREQUENCY VIBRATIONS
A vibration module for applying vibrational tractions to a wearer's skin is presented. Use of the vibration module in headphones is illustrated for providing tactile sensations of low frequency for music, for massage, and for electrical recording and stimulation of the wearer. Damped, planar, electromagnetically-actuated vibration modules of the moving magnet type are presented in theory and reduced to practice, and shown to provide a substantially uniform frequency response over the range 40-200 Hz with a minimum of unwanted audio.
DEVICE FOR BILATERAL REHABILITATION
A device for bilateral rehabilitation of a user's limbs, includes a main body connected to a base, a first motor and a second motor supported by the main body, a first and second rotary interfaces supported by the main body rotatably operable about first and second rotation axes by the motors. Grip accessories have a grip portion and a coupling portion couplable to the first and second rotary interfaces. An electronic control device is configured to control rotary movements and torques applied to the first and second rotary interfaces depending on angular positions or torques detected by a position or torque detector. The main body is connected to the base by an adjustable and lockable joint allowing adjustment and locking of the position of the main body with respect to the base in at least three different body positions with different orientations of the first and second rotation axes.
Low noise measurement of impedance of a patient
A medical device for measuring an impedance of a patient or mammal when a current is applied by electrodes. The medical device includes an output that transmits a drive signal to a set of drive electrodes coupled to a patient and an input that receives a sense signal generated by a set of sensing electrodes coupled to the patient. A processor determines the impedance of the patient based on the drive signal transmitted to the set of drive electrodes and the sense signal received by the set of sensing electrodes.
LOW NOISE MEASUREMENT OF IMPEDANCE OF A PATIENT
A medical device for measuring an impedance of a patient or mammal when a current is applied by electrodes. The medical device includes an output transmits a drive signal to a set of drive electrodes coupled to a patient and an input receives a sense signal generated by a set of sensing electrodes coupled to the patient. A processor determines the impedance of the patient based on the drive signal transmitted to the set of drive electrodes and the sense signal received by the set of sensing electrodes. A user interface displays the determined impedance.
