Tree net assembly
10842087 · 2020-11-24 ·

A tree net assembly includes a pole vertically oriented and positioned adjacent to a plant. Each of a pair of globes is slidably positioned around the pole, and each of the globes has a plurality of wells each extending toward a center of a respective one of the globes. each of a pair of rods is comprised of a resiliently bendable material. Each of the rods is removably coupled between the globes when the globes are positioned on the pole. The globes are spaced apart from each other a distance less than a length of the rods. The rods curve outwardly from the pole between the globes such that the rods define a sphere surrounding the plant. A net is positionable around the rods to surround the plant.

Plant Bulb Protection Assembly

A plant bulb protection assembly includes a tube has a first end that is tapered to penetrate ground. The tube has an inside diameter that is sufficient to accommodate a plant bulb and surround the plant bulb when the tube is inserted into ground. The tube is comprised of a resilient material to inhibit being chewed or otherwise penetrated by a rodent thereby protecting the plant bulb from being eaten by the rodent. A cage is coupled to the tube to inhibit rodents from entering the tube from above the ground. A retainer is coupled to the tube and a grapple is movably coupled to the tube. The grapple is positioned on an opposite side of the tube with respect to the retainer. Moreover, the grapple releasably engages the retainer on an adjacent one of the tubes with respect to the tube on which the grapple is positioned.

MODULAR DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR DETERRING BIRDS

The present disclosure describes a device which is able to detect and deter wildlife. The present solution provides for a modular system which can have various modules received in a module housing and those modules can be replaced without the need for the device to be serviced by the manufacturer or a certified repair technician.

Tree and shrub protector reservoir
10798882 · 2020-10-13 ·

A tree/shrub protector includes a circular underground drip reservoir that may hold about seven gallons of water and extended about eighteen inches underground. It focuses water and nutrients onto a root ball to encourage downward root growth. Above ground modules include a hard shell reservoir that provides pest protection as well. Another above ground module is a wire type protective fence and/or trellis that has reservoirs as well. A second embodiment has a grill or fence having spikes driven into the ground for support. One or more water reservoirs are integrated into the fence. Variable flow drip tubes feed underground drip pipes from the reservoirs. Vertical poles have uses including tree support, holding a winter shroud, and supporting a fence and/or trellis. The fence is modular to fit inside a thin box. An optional anti-rodent spiked ring is included. All embodiments can reduce returns to a tree vendor.

Netting, crop cover, and ground cover materials

The invention relates to crop netting materials, crop cover materials, and ground cover materials for agricultural applications, which is knitted, woven or non-woven, from a synthetic monofilament, multifilament yarn, or tape or combination thereof, formed from a resin comprising at least one pigment such that the monofilament, multifilament yarn, or tape, transmit solar radiation in the visible wavelength range of about 420 to 720 nm at a level similar to the level that the materials transmit solar radiation in the infra-red wavelength ranges of about 700 to about 1000 nm and 1500 to about 1600 nm. The materials also absorb solar radiation in the UV wavelength range of about 300 to about 380 nm.

An enclosing plant sheath for encircling and protecting a plant stem or vine, which may be joined with other similar sheaths, to create a beneficial microenvironment for developing plants.

Plant Supports and Methods of Using The Same
20200275614 · 2020-09-03 ·

Hinged plant support structures configured to support climbing plants are disclosed. For example, plant support structures formed from a plurality of elongate members having a zig zag or periodic waveform shape configured to be rotatably coupled to adjacent elongate members to form a support structure that includes a lattice of cells. In some examples, the elongate members may be configured, when in use, to act as cantilevered springs that allow a plant to sway in the wind, thereby strengthening the plant. In some examples, the plant supports are selectively configurable between open and closed configurations and have an adjustable size to allow for supporting different-sized plants. The support structures are also configured to easily collapse into a folded configuration for storage.
