Containment shroud system

An apparatus and method for the containment of vertical structures using a flexible, collapsible, and movable shroud. The shroud containment system protects the surrounding environment by catching liquid and solid debris and contaminants from the inside and protects the enshrouded structure and workers from wind, debris, contaminants, and precipitation on the outside as well as providing enhanced protection against falling persons and equipment. The shroud also conceals the vertical structure in whole or in part and greatly eases the setup, takedown, and relocation of the shroud along the axis of the vertical structure due to its modular, impermanent design and method of erection, collapse, and translation.

A closet garment dust protection embodiment that does not rely on the hanger rod but uses other closet surfaces for support and installation primarily the shelf typically located above the hanger rod in a clothes closet. The dust protection system uses an elongated, rectangular panel of typically clear 12 to 20 mil vinyl that is custom cut to width of closet rod/shelf. Preferably 16 to 20 inches in height, the vinyl panel's two ends and one elongated edge are left raw while the remaining long edge is hemmed preferably using one part of a two part hook and loop system which is folded over the vinyl panel edge then stitched or welded into place. Typically the remaining part of the two part hook and loop system, measured to length of cut vinyl is then adhered to designated anchoring point. The hook and loop surfaces are pressed together for attachment. The affixed vinyl panel is then placed over the horizontal surfaces of hangered garments that protrude outward from the hanger rod protecting that portion of hangered garments from dust accumulation. Typically the closet shelf protects that portion of the garments hanging inward from hanger rod from dust accumulation.

Hand removable, clip on wax guards

Guards for a space access device are configured to be attached to, as well as removed from the space access device by hand, without the need to resort to any tools to perform the attachment or the removal. A distal guard includes at least first and second filters separated by at least one convoluted pathway, and also includes outwardly extending members projecting outwardly from a base of the distal guard. A proximal guard forms at least one convoluted pathway with a cap forming a proximal end of the space access device. A pull tab provides redundancy against failure. The pull tab may be incorporated into the distal guard.
