This invention relates to an improved means of easily, quickly, and sanitarily distributing prepackaged medication to patients in a hospital or nursing home. The invention utilizes an small easily wiped down and cleaned housing which can be carried by a shoulder strap from patient to patient without leaving it unattended in a hallway. An internal bar-code reader and touch screen computer provide a positive means of identifying each prepackaged medication container, recording patient vital information, presenting to a nurse only the medication for a specific patient, and transmitting vital information and time of dispense to a hospital's inhouse computer network.

By the two long ties arranged adjacent to each other and tightened around an arm or a leg of the human body, the pill box carrying pouch is closely attached to the wound on the limb for supporting wounded area or for hemostasis.

The controller is configured to monitor the extraction of pill packets and control the transition of the gate from the closed position to the open position.
