LOCKABLE VIAL SLEEVE AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A lockable vial sleeve assembly includes a sleeve configured to house a vial, the sleeve defining a body and a first opening provided at one end of the body, the first opening configured to receive the vial therethrough. A locking member is configured to pivotably lock to the sleeve adjacent the one end. The vial is insertable into the body through the first opening, and in response to the locking member being pivotably locked to the sleeve, the locking member at least partially closes the first opening to restrict withdrawal of the vial through the first opening.
EPINEPHRINE PREMIX FORMULATIONS AND USES THEREOF
A pharmaceutical premix formulation comprising from about 10 mcg/ml to about 70 mcg/ml epinephrine and a salt is described, wherein the formulation is an aqueous, premix formulation and has a pH from about 2 to about 6. Uses and systems including the epinephrine premix formulation are also provided.
Septum holders for use in syringe connectors
A septum holder having a body. The body has a disk shaped annular upper body part and a lower body part, at least one resilient elongated arm terminating with a distal enlarged element attached to the side of the body, and a septum fitted into the lower body part so that it extends downward parallel to the at least one arm. The septum is made of a single piece of cylindrically shaped resilient material. The upper part of the septum has a diameter larger than the middle part of the septum in order to form a flange that rests on an annular ledge created around the inside of the bottom section of the body when the middle part of septum slides through the open center at the bottom of the bottom section. The lowest part of the septum has a diameter that matches that of a septum in a fluid transfer component. The septum has a cavity created in its middle part into which an insert having at least one bore that functions as the seat of a needle valve is inserted.
Biopharmaceutical container, biopharmaceutical container bag, and method for the production and use of said biopharmaceutical container
The invention relates to a biopharmaceutical container comprising: a connector to be secured to a chamber connector; a bag serving as a receptacle, one part of which is secured to the connector; and a flexible tube tucked inside the bag, which tube can extend out from the bag through the connector. The biopharmaceutical container, wherein: the tube forms part of the bag, the tube is a neck of reduced size extending from the body of the bag, and the aforementioned part of the bag that is secured to the connector is a fold in the wall of the bag, said wall of the bag forming the body of the bag on one side of the fold and the tube on the other side of the fold.
Tissue specimen retrieval bag, method for retrieving tissue
Provided is a tissue retrieval bag. The bag is defined by a region of the bag defining an opening; an exterior surface of the bag depending from the opening; and a channel formed into the exterior surface of the bag, wherein the channel provides access to the interior of the bag through the exterior surface. Also provided is a tissue retrieval defined by a region of the bag defining an opening; an exterior surface of the bag depending from the opening; and at least one porthole on the exterior of the bag, wherein at least one tube extends from the at least one porthole.
Capping device for disinfecting medical injection membranes
A device for disinfection of a medical injection port is provided. The device includes a capping portion having an inner surface, a hollow portion having an inner surface, a proximal opening, and a distal opening, a connector coupling the capping portion of the device to the hollow portion thereof, and a disinfecting absorbent material disposed inside the capping portion of the device. The connector permits movement of the capping portion between a fully-seated position on the hollow portion of the device, and a position apart from the proximal opening thereof to permit ingress to the medical injection port.
Vial blinding assemblies and methods of assembly
A vial blinding assembly includes a vial having a bottle with a constricted neck and an annular shoulder that inwardly extends; a stopper disposed on an opening of the bottle and having a septum with a top surface; and a retainer securing the stopper to the bottle. A tubular blinding shell encircles a compartment that extends between a first end with an inlet opening and an opposing second end with an access opening. A floor plug is secured to the first end of the blinding shell. The vial is disposed within compartment of the blinding shell with the vial being supported by the floor plug and the neck passing through the access opening so that the top surface of the septum is disposed outside of the compartment of the blinding shell, the shoulder of the vial having an outside diameter larger than a diameter of the access opening.
Medication compliance methods, devices, and systems
Cannabis, much like medications, requires secure containment. It is particularly important to prevent access to Cannabis to children, elderly, or others for whom the Cannabis is not prescribed, designated, or legally permitted. Provided herein are medication tracking and securement devices, systems, platforms, and methods configured to be used with or in place of commercial standard medicine bottles. The wireless tracking and communications elements of the present disclosure are configured to prevent medication theft, overdosing, medication loss, and prescription noncompliance.
ASEPTIC BIOPROCESS PACKAGE
An aseptic bioprocess package is provided herein. The aseptic bioprocess package includes a 2D flexible container including an interior compartment, a height having an upper half and a lower half, an inlet and an outlet, the inlet and the outlet being disposed on the same half of the 2D flexible container and a channel-forming feature in the interior compartment of the container, the channel-forming feature being configured to maintain a fluid flow path that fluidly connects the interior compartment of the flexible container with the outlet.
Connector and Connection System for a Medical Packaging, and Method for Providing a Liquid for a Medical Packaging
The invention relates to a connector for a medical packaging. The connector comprises an attachment part with a sealing element, the sealing element having a sealing head with at least one slit. The sealing head sits in an inner sleeve of the attachment part, the sealing head being adjoined by at least one trunk portion, which has a larger outer diameter than the sealing head. A gap is present between the at least one trunk portion and an opposite inner wall of the attachment part. An interior of the sealing element is free from a body with a tip that is intended to assist the opening of the sealing head. The attachment part has an outer sleeve which surrounds the inner sleeve and which has an internal thread.
