Methods and systems for securing, delivering, and monitoring use of an active agent
Technologies are described for delivering an active agent using an ingestible pill device, securing medication package content, and monitoring the medication package content. Examples of the technology include using an ingestible pill device to deliver an active agent, where release of the active agent can be based on patient authentication, analyzing sensor data to determine a condition for releasing the active agent, analyzing image data to identify a release point, etc. Examples of the technology also include using a monitoring device to secure a medication package using a cover and locking device, monitoring the medication package to detect access to the medication package, and tracking access to the medication package to determine medication adherence.
SOLUTION APPLICATION APPARATUS AND A TABLET PRINTING APPARATUS
An excellent quality application and printing is performed to a printing target. In a solution application apparatus according to embodiments of the present disclosure, ink supplied to the head 51 ejecting the solution is a solution including fluorescent material, which emits light when light with wavelength in ultraviolet region is irradiated, and the solution application apparatus detects a presence of an ejection failure nozzle by imaging an ejection outlet 52a in a state in which light having wavelength in ultraviolet region is irradiated to the ejection outlet 52a of a nozzle 52 of the head 51.
Method for Anti-Counterfeiting and Identification of Products
A method for anti-counterfeiting and identification of products includes manufacturing multiple marking units with different characteristics, performing an arrangement and combination operation on the marking units to design multiple arrangement marks that are not repeated, recording the arrangement marks to construct a record datebase, and setting each of the arrangement marks with the marking units on a target product such as a medicine. After the consumer purchases the target product, the photos of the target product and the record datebase are identified and compared to judge the authenticity of the target product.
Apparatus, system and method for facilitating tracking of consumable pharmaceutical articles
Embodiments of an apparatus, system and method for facilitating the tracking of consumable pharmaceutical articles are disclosed. A marking apparatus is configured to apply unique indelible identifiers to pharmaceutical articles at the point-of-sale. The indelible identifiers on the articles are visually or electronically readable to allow each respective article to be traced with respect to its manufacturer, prescribing physician, patient to whom it was prescribed, dispensing location, expiration date, dosage, or some combination thereof. An associated system and method may involve the provision of a remote database element configured to be in network communication between the marking apparatus, manufacturer, distributor, prescriber, dispensing location, scanning tool, or some combination thereof. The indelible identifier may initially be generated by the apparatus and then obtained and recorded by the remote database element. Alternative, the indelible identifier may initially be generated and recorded by the remote database element, then provided to the marking apparatus.
TABLET PRINTING APPARATUS AND TABLET PRINTING METHOD
A tablet printing apparatus 1 according to embodiments includes an imaging device 23 that images a side surface of a tablet T on which a split line is formed on one surface, a carrying device 21 that carries the tablet T, a printing head device 24 that prints information on the tablet T carried by the carrying device 21, and a controlling device 50 that specifies an angle of the split line based on an image obtained by the imaging device 23, creates a printing data for printing the information in accordance with the split line using the specified angle, and controls the printing head device 24 using the created printing data.
PRINTED SUPPORT STRUCTURE
An example device includes at least one three-dimensional (3D) printed tablet and a 3D-printed production support structure. Each 3D-printed tablet includes an excipient material and an active ingredient. The 3D-printed support structure includes a 3D-printed planar structure comprising the excipient material and at least one 3D-printed connecting member comprising the excipient material. The planar structure includes at least one aperture, each aperture corresponding to one of the at least one 3D-printed tablet. The connecting member detachably connects the at least one 3D-printed tablet with the 3D-printed planar structure and positions the at least one 3D-printed tablets within the apertures.
