A roll for rolling surface topography of a steel plate is disclosed. A plurality of raised textured points are arranged on a roll surface. The shape formed by a joint between each single textured point and the roll surface is circular or approximately circular. The circular shape has a diameter of 50150 m. Each single textured point has a raised height of 212 m, and the overlap among adjacent textured points is lower than 10%. The quantity variance of the textured points per square millimeter of the roll surface is lower than 20%, and the coverage area ratio of the textured points in each square millimeter is 3090%. The method comprises performing surface treatment on a feed roll to control the surface roughness Ra of the roll to be smaller than 0.5 m; and performing layer-by-layer ablation on a surface material of the roll to form the textured points.

Mill rolls capable of rolling long kilometers used for ESP production line and a method for rolling long kilometers using the mill rolls. The mill rolls include rolls (3, 4), a bearing box (2) and a roll shifting hydraulic cylinder (1), wherein the middle portion of the surface of the roll sinks inwards, one end of the rolls is frustum-shaped, smaller and smaller outwards, so that the roll surface forms a compensation ramp, and the other end of the rolls is cylindrical. The upper roll (3) and the lower roll (4) have the same roll profile and are positioned in the opposite direction. The mill rolls are characterized by reduced runaway of the rolled product and a longer service life.

A rolling mill includes: work rolls configured to roll a rolling material; intermediate rolls supporting the work rolls from above and below, respectively; back-up rolls supporting the intermediate rolls from above and below, respectively; position adjusting means for adjusting the positions of the intermediate rolls relative to the work rolls and the back-up rolls in the direction of conveyance of the rolling material; detecting means for detecting horizontal forces on the work rolls; offset-amount calculating means for calculating the offset amounts of the intermediate rolls based on the horizontal forces on the work rolls detected by the detecting means; and controlling means for controlling the position adjusting means such that the positions of the intermediate rolls are offset by the offset amounts calculated by the offset-amount calculating means.
Cold rolling of rolled stock
A rolling device (1), a method and a rolling train (35) for the cold rolling of rolled stock (3). The rolling device (1)-a rolling stand (5), multiple assembly sets for optionally assembling the rolling stand (5) with one of the assembly sets, and a working-roll drive. Each assembly set comprises two working rolls (7, 8), and for each working roll (7, 8) two working-roll chocks (9). A spindle head (11), can be connected to a working roll journal (16) of the working roll (7, 8). The working rolls (7, 8) of different assembly sets have different working-roll diameter ranges, which are determined by a respective minimum working-roll diameter and maximum working-roll diameter. The rolling stand (5) has mountings (19) for a respective working-roll chock (9) of an assembly set. The working-roll drive has two drive spindles (27), each for driving a working roll (7, 8) via the spindle head (11) assigned to the working roll (7, 8) by rotations about a longitudinal axis of the drive spindle (27).
CHANGING THE EFFECTIVE CONTOUR OF A RUNNING SURFACE OF A WORKING ROLL DURING HOT ROLLING OF ROLLING STOCK IN A ROLL STAND TO FORM A ROLLED STRIP
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for changing the effective contour of a running surface (8) of a working roller (3, 4) during the hot rolling of rolling stock in a roll stand (2) to form a rolled strip (1). The intention is to be able to change the contour of the running surface (8) during the hot rolling by means of the invention. This object is achieved according to the invention by the axial displacement of the working rollers (3, 4) in opposite directions by a displacement distance s, wherein s is greater or less than ?r/tan(?) and ?r indicates the wear of the running surface (8) in the radial direction (R) and ? indicates the pitch angle of the conical portion (7) of the respective working roller (3, 4).

Provided is a glassy carbon roll-type mold manufacturing method for fine pattern formation. The method is for manufacturing a glassy carbon roll-type mold configured to form a fine pattern having a micro-nano structure on a substrate including glass or a metal. The method includes: preparing a roll precursor including a thermosetting resin material, the roll precursor having a roll shape with a circumferential surface on which a pattern corresponding to the fine pattern is formed, the roll precursor being configured to press the substrate while rotating on the substrate; and carbonizing the roll precursor.

A compensation method of an asymmetric strip shape of a strip rolling mill, for compensating the asymmetric strip shape of a strip caused in a machining process of the strip rolling mill in the prior art. The compensation method is realized by generating a non-linear asymmetric no-load roll-shaped profile curve through polishing an upper working roll and a lower working roll of a rolling mill and forming a non-linear asymmetric no-load roll gap between a transmission side and a working side of the upper and lower working rolls. The strip rolling mill in the prior art refers to a presently commonly used two-roll rolling mill driven by the transmission side of the working roll, a four-roll rolling mill equipped with a support roll and a multi-roll rolling mill equipped with a middle roll.
