Printing customized medication based on current user data and medical records of the user
A computer-implemented method for printing customized 3D medication based on the current user data and one or more medical records of the user. The method obtains current user data via one or more user IoT sensors and accesses one or more medical records of the user. The method further determines a medication design based on the obtained current user data and the accessed one or more medical records of the user and prints a 3D medication based on the determined medication design.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HIGH HUMIDITY CURING WITHIN TABLET COATING SYSTEM
The disclosure encompasses systems and methods for performing high temperature and high humidity curing of tablets using air flow delivered from a recirculating air handler to a pan coater of a tablet coating device. The recirculating air handler may be integrated into a preexisting tablet coating device so that the air flow may be delivered by the preexisting air handler or by the recirculating air handler as desired.
Method and system for manufacturing and oral soluble films and oral soluble films made by thereby
An oral soluble film contains at least one active agent. Alternatively, a multi-layered film includes a plurality of layers, at least one at least one of the plurality of layers being an oral soluble film layer containing at least one active agent. The oral soluble film may be made, e.g., by a method comprising providing a well of a predetermined size; depositing a film forming composition in the well; metering a predetermined amount of an active agent composition in the well separately from the film forming composition, the active agent composition being different than the film forming composition, the film forming composition and the active agent composition forming a single layer in the well; and drying the single layer in the well to form the oral soluble film containing the at least one active agent.
3D printer
A 3D printer for producing consumable products, the 3D printer comprising an apparatus for dispensing a material, the apparatus comprising: a first syringe having a body for containing a material, a nozzle for dispensing the material from the body, and a plunger for controlling a pressure in the body, a plunger mechanism coupled to the plunger, a body mechanism coupled to the body and an actuator arranged to move the plunger mechanism relative to the body mechanism in a first direction to increase a pressure in the syringe body to dispense the material and to move the plunger mechanism relative to the body mechanism in a second direction to reduce the pressure in the syringe body to inhibit the dispensation of the material.
SYSTEMS OF ON-DEMAND CUSTOMIZED MEDICAMENT DOSES BY 3D PRINTING
Systems and methods of fabricating a customized dose using a medication 3D printer are provided. According to one embodiment, a system is provided that includes a 3D printer that receives prescription dose instructions from a computer or mobile communication device via a network and assembles a customized medication dose according to the prescription dose instructions by selective application of materials stored in a medicament compound container having at least one reservoir containing the materials for assembly. The materials for assembly can be provided to the 3D printer by a master conduit connecting reservoirs in the medicament compound container to the 3D printer. The 3D printer accesses specified amounts of the materials, which include medicament compounds, via the master conduit, and assembles the customized medication dose according to the prescription dose instructions.
