The smart system comprises a plurality of computing devices in wireless communication with at least one medication dispensing device, the plurality of computing devices comprises of a medication management module configured to generate schedules and timetables based on a plurality of inputs provided by a plurality of users with reference to the medication intended to be housed in the at least one medication dispensing device based on the consumption requirement, the medication management module configured to send the generated schedules and timetables to the at least one medication dispensing device. The smart system further comprises cloud servers configured to establish communication with the plurality of computing devices and the at least one medication dispensing device via a network, the cloud servers are configured to store the conversations between the plurality of computing devices and the at least one medication dispensing device.
APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR THE AUTOMATED DISPENSING OF ARTICLES
Provided herein is a system for automated dispensing of articles. Systems may include: a robotic arm; an end-of-arm tool attached to the robotic arm; a scanning device proximate the end-of-arm tool; and a controller to control the robotic arm and the end-of-arm tool. The end-of-arm tool may include a body and two or more vacuum cups extending from the body, where the controller controls a level of suction provided to each of the two or more vacuum cups individually. Each of the two or more vacuum cups extending from the body may be movable between a retracted position proximate the body, and an extended position away from the body of the end-of-arm tool in response to instruction from the controller. Suction may be provided only to the vacuum cups of the two or more vacuum cups that are disposed in the extended position.
HOLDING STRUCTURE FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY HOLDING A PLURALITY OF CONTAINERS FOR SUBSTANCES FOR PHARMACEUTICAL, MEDICAL OR COSMETIC APPLICATIONS, TRANSPORT UNIT AND TRANSPORT OR PACKAGING CONTAINER HAVING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a holding structure for simultaneously holding a plurality of containers for substances for pharmaceutical, medical or cosmetic applications or of devices having such containers, having a plurality of receptacles. The receptacles are arranged in a regular arrangement and are formed by in each case peripherally formed side walls. The receptacles have in each case one or two widened clearances having a dimension which is greater than the width of a gap between the containers received in the receptacles and side walls of the receptacles in the regions other than the widened clearances. The widened clearances additionally make available space for access to containers or devices which are received in the receptacles for handling thereof.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING AN INTEGRATED LABEL FOR CONTAINER HOUSING MULTI-SCRIPT POUCHES
A system for integrating and labeling a plurality of tablet orders is described. The system comprises a graphical user interface configured to receive one or more inputs for a plurality of tablets associated with a particular patient. A software module is configured to compile the inputs into an integrated order. The system further comprises an integrated label coupled to a package containing a dose comprised of the plurality of tablets input into the graphical user interface. The integrated label indicates information about the first dose and the second dose.
Programmable pill box assembly
A programmable pill box assembly includes a pill box that has a plurality of compartments therein for containing pills. A plurality of doors is each hingedly coupled to the pill box. Each of the doors is aligned with a respective one of the compartments for opening and closing the compartments. A sensing unit is coupled to the pill box to sense when each of the doors is opened or closed. A transmission unit is removably coupled to the pill box and the transmission unit transmits an alert signal when the sensing unit senses that a respective one of the doors has not been opened at a predetermined time. A bracelet is worn on a wrist of the user and the bracelet is in wireless communication with the transmission unit. The bracelet vibrates to remind the user to take the pills in one of the compartments in the pill box.
PILL SORTER AND COUNTING DEVICE
Pill sorting devices are described herein that include a cavity formed from a bottom, a front, a first side wall, and a second side wall, a channel formed at the intersection of the first side wall and the second side wall, and a delivery channel within the front and first side wall or the within the front and the second side wall, wherein the delivery channel is offset from the channel. The pill sorting, counting, and dispensing device can be useful for people with arthritis or poor sight, or could be used commercially in pharmacies or industrially. Methods of making and using the pill sorting, counting, and dispensing devices are also described.
