DEVICE FOR DOSING OR COUNTING OBJECTS
A device for dosing or counting objects includes: a plate with a plurality of recesses, each suitable for receiving a single object and arranged in at least two series of at least two rows in parallel along a longitudinal axis, such that the recesses in a first row of one series are offset longitudinally relative to the recesses in the second row of the same series by a non-zero pitch; and a pull element arranged to slide relative to the plate along the longitudinal axis and comprising at least two adjacent tongues, each designed to cover or reveal a corresponding series of rows and arranged to slide relative to one another over a distance equal to the pitch and coupled by a drive mechanism such that the sliding of the pull element along the longitudinal axis over a distance greater than the pitch causes the simultaneous movement of two tongues.

Dispenser System And Methods For Medication Compliance
A medication dispensing system is provided and includes a medicine transfer device (MTD) and a controller. The MTD transfers medicine between first and second containers. The first container initially stores medicine. The controller: determines a first predetermined amount of medicine to be dispensed from the medicine dispensing system; causes the MTD to discharge a second predetermined amount of the medicine from the first container onto the MTD, and transfer a third predetermined amount of the medicine from the MTD to the second container; subsequent to the transfer of the third predetermined amount, determine whether the second container has greater than or equal to the first predetermined amount; and if the second container has less than the first predetermined amount, cause the MTD to transfer a portion of the medicine on the MTD into the second container or discharge a portion of the medicine in the first container onto the MTD.
Pill removal detection device
A pill removal detection device for a blister package including a metallic element. Further, the pill removal detection device includes a detection means for detecting removal of a pill from the blister package. Yet further, the pill removal detection device includes an energy source, a sensor for detecting a change in capacitance of the metallic element of the blister package, means for communicating the detected change in capacitance to the detection means for waking up the detection means, and an attachment means for attaching the pill removal detection device to the blister package, the attachment means including an electrically conductive element connected to the sensor.
Automated pill dispenser
The automatic pill dispenser is a timing device. The automatic pill dispenser is configured for use with one or more prescription vials. Each of the one or more prescription vials contains a pharmacologically active media. The pharmacologically active media is maintained as a tablet. The automatic pill dispenser comprises a cabinet, a turntable, a storage rack, a dispensing station, a dispensing drawer, and a control system. The control system manages and regulates the operation of the automatic pill dispenser. The turntable and the storage rack stores the one or more prescription vials. The dispensing station and the dispensing drawer count and dispenses one or more doses of pharmacologically active media that are required by a patient.

NETWORKED MANAGEMENT OF DISPENSABLES
A system enables dispensing, tracking, storage, processing, analysis, management, fulfillment and/or commerce relating to dispensables, such as consumables. The system may include packages that hold consumables and function either independently or in concert with numerous smart configuration devices, such as tabletop machines or mobile machines, as well as remote servers, databases, and other cloud-based resources. A distributed software layer ties all devices and packages together and adds advanced interactivity, communication, analysis, and self-regulation functionality.
