TABLET DISPENSER
The present invention relates to a tablet dispenser. The tablet dispenser includes: an accommodation part provided with a plurality of cartridge accommodation compartments into which tablet cartridge assemblies configured to accommodate tablets therein and discharge the tablets and each provided with a discharge unit and a cartridge identification unit are inserted and mounted; a plurality of mounting detection units located in the respective cartridge accommodation compartments, and configured to detect the cartridge identification units of the tablet cartridge assemblies; a plurality of discharge driving units located in the respective cartridge accommodation compartments, and configured to drive the discharge units so that the tablets are discharged from the tablet cartridge assemblies; and a control unit connected to the mounting detection units and the discharge driving units, and configured to obtain information through the mounting detection units and control the discharge driving units.
METHODS OF IMPROVING PATIENT COMPLIANCE TO TREAT CONTRAST-INDUCED INJURY
Methods of patient compliance using a dosage distribution system to prevent contrast-induced acute injury by administering an inhibitor of fatty acid oxidation to a patient in need thereof. Also provided are methods involving use of dosage distribution system with trimetazidine or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof for the prevention and/or treatment of contrast-induced acute kidney injury in a subject in need thereof.
MEDICINE CASSETTE AND AUTOMATIC MEDICINE PACKING MACHINE THEREWITH
A medicine cassette includes a medicine supplier configured to supply accommodated medicines according to prescription information, a medicine delivery part configured to deliver the medicines supplied from the medicine supplier to a medicine discharge part, and the medicine discharge part configured to discharge the medicines, which are delivered through the medicine delivery part, to the outside. The medicine supplier may include a medicine accommodation part configured to accommodate the medicines and a rotating rotor part configured to deliver the medicines accommodated in the medicine accommodation part to the medicine delivery part. The rotating rotor part may include a rotating rotor, and at least one sliding member. The sliding member may be configured to be outwardly moved in the radial direction of the rotating rotor as the recess of the rotating rotor approaches a medicine supply inlet configured to supply the medicines to the medicine delivery part.
Apparatus and methods for a semi-automatic pill counting tray
This invention relates to modifications to the traditional manually operated pill counting tray that is broadly used throughout the world to provide features that permit semi-automatic operation that is faster and more accurate than manual-only operation when counting pharmaceutical pills. The tray modifications are based on electronic weight-based sensing technology including the addition of (1) a weighing load sensor to determine the weight of the pills to be counted, (2) a motion sensor and latch for the trough lid to aid operation and performance, (3) a microprocessor that can convert the measured weight of the pills to a pill count, and (4) an output display to show the number of pills counted. This apparatus includes novel features to improve pill counting speed and accuracy, as well as ease of use, that are only possible when employing electronic counting.

System and Method for Virtual Verification in Pharmacy Workflow
A method and system provide for automated detection of prescription product conditions and enables virtual verification of the dispensed prescription product. The method and system include receiving an image of a prescription product to be dispensed according to a prescription to a patient, processing the image with an artificial intelligence model to generate a condition signal indicating a prescription product condition, sending the condition signal to an image analysis engine; and responsive to receiving the condition signal, performing an action based on the prescription product condition.

Systems and methods for vision based counting
Disclosed are image based counting systems and methods. Image based counting systems and methods employ one or more imaging devices (e.g., one or more color cameras) and one or more illumination devices (e.g., one or more illumination sources to provide variable and/or dynamic lighting). In some examples, the image based counting system provides illumination to a tray upon which one or more items (e.g., pills) are placed. The illuminated items are then imaged by the one or more imaging devices based on one or more imaging techniques or processes to determine and/or present information associated with one or more properties of the item.
