Conductive grid sensor for smart packaging
A blister packaging including a blister card including a plurality of flexible blisters; and a backing sheet including blister backing portions and backing securing portions, wherein when the backing securing portions are secured to the blister card, the blister backing portions are aligned to each blister forming a plurality of compartments adapted to store a medicament, and wherein the backing includes two or more conductive first leads affixed to the backing, two or more conductive second leads affixed to the backing, and a plurality of conductive zones, wherein each conductive zone electrically connects one of the first leads to one of the second leads, and wherein each blister backing portion includes a conductive zone.
Device and method for singularized dispensing of solid portions
A device and a method for singularized dosing of solid portions F, in particular mini or micro tablets or globules, which solid portions are forming a bulk body S situated at least partially in the device. The device comprises at least two components, a first component of which is a segregating device and a second component of which is a singularizing device that can be twisted vis-à-vis the segregating device. The singularizing device comprises an interior area and on its inner side at least one chamber for accommodating one solid portion F at a time, so that the at least one chamber can be moved in a direction of motion D and on a motion path B through the bulk body S during twisting of the singularizing device vis-à-vis the segregating device. The segregating device further comprises a separating device to prevent solid portions F contained therein drop out.

Automated Medication Adherence System
An automated medication adherence system. The automated medication adherence system may comprise: a housing, an electronic interface, a plurality of reservoirs, one or more sensors, and at least one pill delivery and lock-out module. The electronic interface is programmable to accept data relating to a medication, including at least one of a pill identify, a user identity, a dosage schedule, and a side effect. The electronic interface actuates rotation of a reservoir, which is configured to receive, store, and dispense pills, tablets, and capsules of various sizes accurately and precisely. The sensors monitor medication input and output, and alerts a user when medication has been dispensed and needs to be taken.
Dispenser system and methods for medication compliance
A medication dispensing system is provided and includes a medicine transfer device (MTD) and a controller. The MTD transfers medicine between first and second containers. The first container initially stores medicine. The controller: determines a first predetermined amount of medicine to be dispensed from the medicine dispensing system; causes the MTD to discharge a second predetermined amount of the medicine from the first container onto the MTD, and transfer a third predetermined amount of the medicine from the MTD to the second container; subsequent to the transfer of the third predetermined amount, determine whether the second container has greater than or equal to the first predetermined amount; and if the second container has less than the first predetermined amount, cause the MTD to transfer a portion of the medicine on the MTD into the second container or discharge a portion of the medicine in the first container onto the MTD.

Interactive adherence drug dispensing and communications platform
Technologies are generally described for providing a pill dispensing device with adherence monitoring and alerting features, as well as communication capabilities. A pill pack may be integrated within a housing of the pill dispensing device, where removal of each pill in the pill pack may be monitored through a conductive trace or comparable mechanism. Timing of the removal, remaining pills, and similar information may also be detected by the pill dispensing device and provided along with additional information such as health status of the consumer monitored by one or more sensors to a health care provider or similar entity over wired and/or wireless networks. The pill dispensing device may include audio and/or visual output device(s) to provide alerts and health/medication related information to the consumer. A display technology may employed enabling continuous display with low power usage such as ink display while providing color and/or video capabilities.

MEASURING CONTAINER, LOADING TOOL, AND MEASURING CONTAINER KIT
A measuring container comprises a storage container and a storage section selector. The storage container includes storage sections each capable of storing a predetermined number of tablets. The storage section selector is attached to the storage container and has a second path that allows the tablets to pass through from one end to an other end. The one end of the second path is connected to an outside, and the other end is selectively connected to one of the storage sections.
PERSONAL PRESCRIPTION DISPENSER
Disclosed is a method and apparatus for transporting and dispensing medications for a patient according to a medication schedule for the patient. A smart container from a pharmacy is received at the patient's site and the container is checked to make sure that the container was delivered to the correct patient site. The smart container contains a memory device that contains identification information of the patient, dosage and treatment instructions for the patient. This information and the medication were checked for compatibility before the smart container was delivered. The identity of the patient at the patient's site is then checked and the patient performs on or more biometric tests before the medication is dispensed by the smart container. Upon taking the medication and providing video proof thereof, the smart container is returned to the pharmacy.
