Compartmentalized container loading and management system
A compartmentalized container loading and management system for loading compartmentalized containers, such as blister cards. A single system may be utilized to hand-load many different types of blister cards having different numbers of wells arranged in different patterns. Systems of the types described herein may include a docking station, a container locator, and a controller. The docking station may include visible information locations which provide visible information proximate wells of a docked blister card to indicate the well which should be loaded. The visible information locations may be changed to match the number, arrangement and pattern of the wells. A container locator may locate the blister card with wells at known positions of the docking station so that visible information may be associated with each well. A controller may control the visible information locations to provide visible information matching the pattern of the wells of each blister card.
DISPENSERS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
The present invention relates to a dispenser comprising: a) a reclosable opening on, or for fitment on and/or around an opening of, a container having a cavity for receiving at least one unit of a product to be dispensed; b) a controller adapted for controlling the opening of the reclosable opening; c) a receiver adapted for receiving a user authentication signal; d) a power source for powering the controller and receiver; and wherein the dispenser only permits the opening of the reclosable opening upon the receiver receiving a user authentication signal. The invention also relates to a dispensing system, method of dispensing and a kit of parts including such a dispenser. The inventions are particularly suited for dispensing pharmaceutical products to only the intended recipient and also to ensure compliance with dosage regimes.
MEDICATION PACKAGING AND DOSE REGIMEN SYSTEM
A medicament dispensing container comprises a first wall and a second wall defining a cavity therebetween. At least one member is connected to at least one of the walls and is disposable in the cavity. The at least one member defines at least one dose receptacle configured for disposal of at least one dose of at least one medication. The at least one member includes indicia relating to a medication regimen comprising the at least one medication. The walls are movable between a medication accessible configuration and a tamper resistant configuration. Systems and methods of use are disclosed.
Medicine Bottle Timer Lid
A medicine bottle timer lid. The medicine bottle timer lid includes a housing removably securable to a medicine bottle having a display operably connected to a timer. The housing further includes a battery and a sensor disposed therein. The sensor is configured to detect the position of the housing with respect to the medicine bottle. The timer is configured to begin counting when the housing is secured to the medicine bottle, and the display shows the amount of time that has elapsed since the housing was secured to the medicine bottle. The timer is further configured to reset upon removal of the housing from the medicine bottle. The medicine bottle timer lid allows individuals to automatically keep track of their medication.
Automated container portfolio and organizer
A portfolio for organizing and managing the storage, access and detection of actions with regards to one or more containers. The portfolio includes various storage mechanisms, holders and tools that can be used for managing the containers. The portfolio includes sensors to detect when containers are being accessed and display devices to present status information pertaining to the containers installed within the portfolio.
PRECISION VITAMIN AND MEDICATION ORGANIZER
Disclosed herein are approaches for a precise medication, vitamin, and/or other medication substance organizer having a plurality of storage compartments that house and separate medications and vitamins by a specific time of day and a means for indicating whether a particular medication or vitamin has already been or needs to be taken. This organizer removes doubt associated with missed or duplicate drug dosages, interactions between medications and vitamins, as well as regulating daily medication and vitamin doses. Additionally, the organizer provides a location to indicate a name and a time a medication or vitamin should be ingested or otherwise taken and an indicator to show whether a medication or vitamin has already been removed from the organizer for ingestion. The medication, vitamin, and/or other medication substance organizer can also be used to prompt a user to take medications that will not fit into the organizer, such as an inhaler.
