Feeding apparatus
A feeding apparatus includes a food container. The food container includes an open end and a closed end. The food container is provided on a surface thereof with one or more apertures. The food container is made of a resilient material for use with foodstuff.
Multifunctional feeding-bottle
The present patent application discloses a multifunctional feeding-bottle, including an outer cup, a liner, a nipple assembly connected to an opening of the outer cup, and a bottom cover connected to the bottom of the outer cup. The feeding-bottle further includes a valve piece disposed between the bottom of the outer cup and the bottom cover. An air inlet is disposed in a central part of a body of the valve piece. A stiffener is disposed at a part other than the air inlet. A cavity is formed between one side of the valve piece provided with the stiffener and the bottom cover. A sealing protrusion capable of sealing the air inlet is disposed at a central part of the bottom cover. An air vent is disposed at a part different from the sealing protrusion. The liner is disposed in the outer cup, and is configured to be removed from the outer cup.
INFANT FORMULA RECEPTACLE WITH PLIABLE POUCH, AND INFANT FEEDING SYSTEMS
A disposable receptacle useful with an infant feeding system, including a pliable pouch. The pliable pouch may have a single compartment, or a pair of compartments wherein a first compartment is filled with powdered formula, and a second compartment is filled with distilled water. When compartmentalized, the compartments are separated by a burst seal designed to fail upon subjection to pressure of between about 1-3 lbs. The receptacles include a cylindrical fitment with a one-way valve removably positioned therewithin. A top seal of the pliable pouch is secured about the body of the fitment. The receptacles may be used with an infant feeding system having a support disc with an aperture to receive and secure the fitment, and a nipple having an internal chamber sized and configured to tightly and removably receive a portion of the fitment. The infant feeding system may optionally include a bottle and a securing ring.
FEEDING BOTTLE
A cup or container assembly having a lip activated input feature. The lip activated feature permits removal of the contents from the cup or container while mitigating against leaks and/or spills. The lid includes a movable member and a baffle. The cup assembly is constructed to have streamlined assembly method due to a reduced number of parts needing separation and/or improved connecting features. The improved geometry of lid components lends to heightened ease of cleaning.
AUTOMATIC PACING SYSTEM FOR A BABY BOTTLE
A baby bottle, an insert for a baby bottle, a baby bottle including an insert, and a method of feeding an infant that serves to pace the infant's feeding rhythm. Generally, these devices and methods will be of use for a preterm infant who lacks coordination of the suck-swallow-breathe synchrony, but can also be used with full term infants who can benefit from rigid control of the flow of milk from a bottle, this includes, but is not limited to, infants with gastroesophageal reflux who can require pacing of feeds to allow for gastric emptying. The device generally cues the infant to swallow and breathe after each 1-4 sucks by stopping the flow of the fluid from the bottle after the infant has sucked sufficiently or a predetermined period of time has passed. Once the baby breathes or a period of time passes, the bottle resets for the next repetition. The device also serves to consistently slow the flow of milk during oral feeding.
A FOLDABLE BABY BOTTLE
In one aspect, the present invention is directed to a baby bottle, comprising: a foldable container; a bag; a flange welded to an opening of the bag; a nipple; a closure for securing the nipple to an opening of the container, such that the flange is disposed therebetween; wherein the bag is made of polyethylene and a thickness thereof is at least 0.04 mm, thus providing to the bag a stiffness which makes it difficult to fold the bag when being inserted into the container, while allowing folding thereof. Preferably, the flange is welded to the opening of the bag by ultrasonic welding.
System for administering and heating liquids
A device for heating and concomitantly administering a liquid includes a body having at opposite ends a base and a neck connectable to liquid suction means, and liquid heating means. The body has an inner housing configured to receive and completely enclose a liquid container. The inner housing has fluidic connection means. The neck has one or more tubes adapted to fluidically connect the fluidic connection means to the liquid suction means. The liquid heating means are adapted to heat at least partially the one or more tubes, and the fluidic connection means have one or more sharp spouts for puncturing of a predetermined region of the liquid container and for fluidic connection to the liquid container. A liquid container and a sanitizing system of the device are also provided.
TEMPERATURE INDICATOR CONTAINER
A container that provides temperature range indication to a user, the container including a chamber for holding heated liquid and a cap having a visual indicator and a temperature sensor, wherein in use the visual indicator illuminates a plurality of visual colours representing to the user the discrete temperature range of the heated liquid. The container is suitable for infant formula preparation and feeding.
FEEDING DEVICE
A breastfeeding device is disclosed comprising a nipple, a housing, and one or more adjustable straps. The nipple is removably coupled to an amorphous liquid bag via a nozzle assembly. The housing comprises a protuberant portion having a first aperture, a back portion, and one or more fasteners. The protuberant portion and the back portion are removably attached to one another and form an interior cavity. The one or more fasteners are configured to removably attach the a protuberant portion to the back portion. The nipple is insertable into the first aperture of the protuberant portion and protrudes through the first aperture while the amorphous liquid bag remains within the interior cavity. The one or more adjustable straps are attached to the back portion.
