Pipe straightening apparatus and a method of straightening a pipe
A pipe straightening apparatus comprising a first set of rotatably mounted elements which define, at least in part, a first passageway through which a pipe can be constrained to pass, so as to straighten the pipe, wherein the first set of rotatably mounted elements are arranged such that when a pipe translates within the first passageway, relative to the apparatus, the first set of rotatably mounted elements roll along the pipe, relative to the pipe, in a direction which has a component in the circumferential direction of the pipe and a second set of rotatably mounted elements which define, at least in part, a second passageway through which a pipe can pass, wherein the second set of rotatably mounted elements are arranged such that when a pipe translates within the second passageway, relative to the apparatus, the second set of rotatably mounted elements roll along the pipe, relative to the pipe, in a direction that is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the pipe.

Drawing unit and corresponding method
Drawing unit for drawing at least one long metal product (P), configured to make the at least one long metal product (P) advance along a nominal axis of feed (A) and provided with at least a first motorized roll (13) and with at least two second rolls (14) operating at the periphery of the first roll (13) and defining, with the latter, respective passage gaps (15). The at least two second rolls (14) are located one on one side and the other on the other side of the axis (N) orthogonal to the nominal axis of feed (A) that passes through the center of rotation of the first roll (13). The second rolls (14) are associated to movement members (21) to move the second rolls (14) in a parallel form with respect to each other and in a direction substantially orthogonal to said nominal axis of feed (A) in order to adjust the passage gaps (15). The passage gaps (15) have, during use, along the straight line (R) that joins the center of the first roll (13) with the center of the respective second roll (14), an amplitude (G) that is bigger in size than the nominal diameter (D) of the metal product (P).
Drawing unit and corresponding method
Drawing unit for drawing at least one long metal product (P), configured to make the at least one long metal product (P) advance along a nominal axis of feed (A) and provided with at least a first motorized roll (13) and with at least two second rolls (14) operating at the periphery of the first roll (13) and defining, with the latter, respective passage gaps (15). The at least two second rolls (14) are located one on one side and the other on the other side of the axis (N) orthogonal to the nominal axis of feed (A) that passes through the center of rotation of the first roll (13). Straightening machine
A straightening machine includes a frame supporting housings in which each housing receives a roll shaft rotatable about its axis. At least one first assembly includes a first guide defining a first convex surface and a first corresponding guided element defining a first concave surface. The first surfaces contact each other at a first contact surface. At least one second assembly includes a second guide defining a second convex surface and a second corresponding guided element defining a second concave surface. The second surfaces contact each other at a second contact surface. A device for rotating at least one roll shaft housing carries out a rotation being guided by the assemblies about a virtual axis transverse to a roll shaft axis, to compensate bending due to straightening of a product.
Straightening machine
A straightening machine includes a frame supporting housings in which each housing receives a roll shaft rotatable about its axis. At least one first assembly includes a first guide defining a first convex surface and a first corresponding guided element defining a first concave surface. The first surfaces contact each other at a first contact surface. Open containment frame for roller applied deep compression treatment of shaft products
An embodiment includes a suspended supporting device for roller compression treatment of rotating shaft products, comprising: a containment frame including: a main portion; and an articulating arm including an attachment for a roller cartridge; a support element attached to the main portion and providing internal stabilization to the supporting device; a mechanism providing motion to the articulating arm with respect to the main portion; and an attachment mechanism for suspending the supporting device via attachment to an external element. Open containment frame for roller applied deep compression treatment of shaft products
An embodiment includes a suspended supporting device for roller compression treatment of rotating shaft products, comprising: a containment frame including: a main portion; and an articulating arm including an attachment for a roller cartridge; a support element attached to the main portion and providing internal stabilization to the supporting device; a mechanism providing motion to the articulating arm with respect to the main portion; and an attachment mechanism for suspending the supporting device via attachment to an external element. Apparatus (10) for straightening a metal wire (W) comprising a support structure (11) on which there are mounted in sequence at least a straightening unit (12), configured to reduce the tensions present in the metal wire (W), a main drawing unit (13), which is configured to exert a certain pull on the metal wire (W) for its advancement, and an outlet unit (14), which is configured to guide the metal wire (W) along an outlet axis (X). The present invention also concerns a process for straightening a metal wire (W).
