UPPER DIE AND MACHINING SYSTEM
An upper die is movable through a die guide rail on a lower portion of a ram in a press machine and a connection rail connected to the die guide rail. The upper die includes, on right and left sides of a center portion as viewed in a front-rear direction, protrusions that protrude in the front-rear direction and move while being guided by grooves included in the die guide rail and the connection rail. The protrusions each include an outer guided portion on an outer side in a transportation direction relative to the center portion and an inner guided portion on an inner side closer to the center portion than the outer guided portion, and a distance in the transportation direction between the outer guided portion and the inner guided portion is greater than a clearance distance between the die guide rail and the connection rail.

To provide a mold for a press brake in which an ascending and descending member that is relatively pressed and lowered by an upper table in a press brake is provided vertically movably with respect to a mold base mountable on a lower table in the press brake, an upper surface of a workpiece supporting member provided in the mold base and a lower surface of a workpiece pressing member provided in the ascending and descending member vertically face each other, and the upper surface of the workpiece supporting member is inclined so that a front side thereof becomes relatively lower than the lower surface of the workpiece pressing member.
ADJUSTABLE DIE FOR A PRESS BRAKE
Disclosed is a die for a press brake including a base, a first half portion and a second half portion of a mold, each including a plurality of plates parallel to one another and alternated in a longitudinal direction of the die, the die including a translation device to move the half portions away from and toward each other, the device including a plurality of guides obtained on the plates, a shaft slidingly engaged with the guides, a first pinion and a second pinion mounted on the shaft and at least a first rack and at least a second rack respectively on a first plate of the first half portion and on a second plate of the second half portion and meshed respectively with the first and second pinion.
DIE SET AND WORKING METHOD USING THE DIE SET
A die set for bending a metal plate workpiece includes a lower die for placing the workpiece, an upper die having a pressing surface which presses the workpiece toward the lower die by movement, a lower movable part provided in the lower die and being slidable in the same direction as the direction of the upper die movement, and a gas spring elastically supporting the lower movable part from below. The pressing surface of the upper die is moved, contacts with the upper surface of the workpiece and presses the workpiece toward the lower die. The lower movable part being elastically supported by the gas spring from below brings an opposing surface into contact with the lower surface of the workpiece and makes the upper die to be close to the lower die while applying force in the upward which is opposite direction of the upper die movement.
Device for Securing a Tool and Method for Manufacturing Such a Device
The invention relates to a device (1) for securing a tool (2), in particular a bending tool, comprising a receiving. space (4) for receiving an engaging part (5) of the tool and means (9) arranged in or close to the receiving space for locating and/or communicating with the tool. The device is further provided with a first protective layer (11) at least partially separating the locating and/or communication means from the receiving space. The tool can comprise a locating and/or communication element (14) which co-acts with the locating and/or communication means and which is closed off from the surrounding area by a second protective layer (15). The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such a securing device.
BENDING METHOD
A bending method utilizes a die including a V-groove at an upper part thereof, and a punch including a first surface and a second surface at a workpiece pressing portion. In a state of being mounted on an upper table of a press brake, the first surface is parallel to a first groove wall surface of the die mounted on a lower table. An angle formed between the second surface and a perpendicular plane is different from an angle formed between a second groove wall surface and the perpendicular plane. A plate-shaped workpiece placed on the die is bent in a state of being sandwiched between the first groove wall surface and the first surface.
Device for securing a tool and method for manufacturing such a device
The invention relates to a device (1) for securing a tool (2), in particular a bending tool, comprising a receiving. space (4) for receiving an engaging part (5) of the tool and means (9) arranged in or close to the receiving space for locating and/or communicating with the tool. The device is further provided with a first protective layer (11) at least partially separating the locating and/or communication means from the receiving space. The tool can comprise a locating and/or communication element (14) which co-acts with the locating and/or communication means and which is closed off from the surrounding area by a second protective layer (15). The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such a securing device.
Tool for a punching machine for reshaping portions of a plate-shaped workpiece and method thereto
Tools for punching machines for reshaping at least one portion of a plate-shaped workpiece are described. The tools have a first tool portion that includes a first device configured to be held in a first tool holder of the punching machine and a bending stamp having a bending edge and a second tool portion including a second device configured to be held in a second tool holder of the punching machine and a bending roller configured to cooperate with the bending stamp to reshape the plate-shaped workpiece. The bending roller is rotatable around a rotation axis running parallel to the bending edge. The bending roller includes a sector-shaped notch formed along the rotation axis and formed, at least in part, by first and second bending shank edges. The bending roller includes a plurality of second bending segments positioned on the rotation axis to rotate about the rotation axis.
Bending tool having a longitudinal-offset measuring device
The invention relates to a lower tool (1) having a longitudinal-offset measuring device (2), which lower tool (1) is part of a bending tool arrangement for use in a bending press. The lower tool (1) has a tool body (3) having a longitudinal extension (4), in which longitudinal extension (4) a bending recess (5) is provided. The bending recess (5) extends from an upper flat side (6) of the tool body (3) into the latter and is formed at least by two contact surfaces (7). The transition from the upper flat side (6) into the bending recess (5) forms a contact edge (8), which contact edge (8) forms a contact line (9) in the longitudinal extension (4). A sensor (10) for determining a longitudinal offset (18) is arranged in the region of the contact line (9), wherein a sensing portion (11) of the sensor (10) is oriented in the direction of a metal sheet (16) to be bent.
Apparatus and method for crimping coupling rings
An apparatus and method for crimping coupling rings are provided. The apparatus generally has a lower clamp head and an upper clamp head that may be drawn together by a fastener. The lower and upper clamp heads are designed to receive a first portion and a second portion of a coupling ring, respectively. A first and second post holds the clamp heads adjacent to each other. The upper clamp head is secured to the first post such that the upper clamp head may rotate in a generally circular motion to switch the apparatus from a closed to an open configuration, or vice versa. When the apparatus is placed in a closed configuration, the fastener may be engaged to draw the clamp heads together to increase the compressive force imposed on a coupling ring until the coupling ring becomes crimped.
