Portable tube bender
A tube bender includes a bending tool and a bending base connected to the bending tool. The bending tool has an arched member. The bending base has a first plate, a second plate, a first block, and a second block. The first plate is separated from the second plate to form a bending space therebetween. The first and the second blocks are received in the bending space and pivoted on both the first plate and the second plate. A tube is adapted to be rested on the first and the second blocks while the arched member is able to be moved toward the tube to bend the tube. The first block and the second block are rotated automatically according to a curvature of the tube being bent.
HEAT EXCHANGER TUBE, HEAT EXCHANGE UNIT, HEAT EXCHANGE APPARATUS, HOT WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HEAT EXCHANGER TUBE
A heat exchanger tube for transferring a heat of an exhaust gas to a fluid to be heated includes a turn-back portion formed in an intermediate portion of the heat exchanger tube and a reciprocating conduit portion. The reciprocating conduit portion includes a conduit portion leading from a starting end of the heat exchanger tube to the turn-back portion, and a conduit portion leading from the turn-back portion to a terminal end of the heat exchanger tube. A space equal to or greater than the outer diameter of the conduit portions is provided between these conduit portions.
Machine and method for the semi-continuous cold-bending of sections with low ductility
The invention relates to a machine and method for the semi-continuous cold-bending of sections (3) with low ductility, of the type including a horizontal mount (1) and an interchangeable tool (4) against which the section (3) is bent. The machine includes a gantry support (10). The tool (4) is located in a zone delimited by the mount (1), vertical supports (5) for the tool (4), and a compression plate (7) actuated by vertical pressure cylinders. The tool (4) is positioned facing an actuation plane defined by a double set of hydraulic positioning (23) and push (20) cylinders. The bent sections (3) can be used for tents, skylights, facades, solar shading louvres, or three-rail frames for truck tarps, guaranteeing a uniform bend in all bent sections, without the section becoming pinned in the machine during bending.

CONDUIT BENDER
A tool for bending an elongated workpiece includes a shaft having a first shaft portion and a second shaft portion, and a coupling assembly coupling the first shaft portion and the second shaft portion. The coupling assembly has a locked configuration in which the coupling assembly inhibits movement of the first shaft portion relative to the second shaft portion and an unlocked configuration in which the coupling assembly permits movement of the first shaft portion relative to the second shaft portion. The tool also includes a shoe coupled to the second shaft portion. The shoe has a curved bottom portion and a hook configured to hold the workpiece against the curved bottom portion. The curved bottom portion is engageable with the workpiece to bend the workpiece.

Combined Machine for Working Wire Rod and Corresponding Working Method
A combined machine for working a wire rod in order to obtain metal products with at least a curved shape is disclosed that comprises a support bench configured to support and guide, along an axis of movement, a mobile slider comprising a work plane on which a curving unit is operative. The combined machine has vise means in the support bench. The slider also comprises, on the work plane, a bending unit associated with the curving unit and the vise means are positionable in a direction orthogonal to the axis of movement.

HAND-HELD CONDUIT BENDING TOOL
A hand-held conduit bending tool has features which increase strength, thereby resulting in higher resistance against crack formation when the conduit bending tool falls under gravity. The bender head includes a body portion and a hook portion extending from a front end thereof. The hook portion includes a central spine, and first and second body parts extending from opposite sides thereof. The first body part has a channel formed therein which aligns with a channel in the body portion, and is separated from the body portion by a space having a radiused corner. The second body part has a radiused front corner or chamfered front corner which contacts the floor when the bender head falls under gravity thereon and thereby creates a clockwise moment.
