A machine for bending a thread-like material such as a pipe, a section iron, a bar, or the like, briefly a pipe, provided with a system for simultaneously loading a pipe to be bent and unloading another, already bent pipe, comprising a vertical hinge provided with a bending head provided with a motor for driving the bending head into rotation about an axis orthogonal to the hinge.

SURGICAL ROBOTIC SYSTEMS FOR BENDING SURGICAL RODS, AND RELATED METHODS AND DEVICES

A robotic system may include a robot base and a rod feeding subassembly coupled to the robot base that includes a feeding actuator configured to selectively move a surgical rod. The robotic system may include a brake subassembly coupled to the robot base that includes a brake actuator configured to receive the surgical rod from the rod feeding subassembly, and selectively fix a first portion of the surgical rod with respect to the brake subassembly. The robotic system may include a bending subassembly coupled to the robot base that includes a bending actuator configured to selectively rotate to engage a second portion of the surgical rod and bend the second portion of the surgical rod with respect to the first portion of the surgical rod so that the first portion and the second portion of the surgical rod define a first bend angle.

Tie bar tensioning system

A tie bar tensioning system that allows a bending machine operator to removably couple an upper end of a bend die post of the bending machine to a base of the bending machine via a tie bar, and to lock the tie bar in a tensioned position. The tensioning system includes a stationary member and a rotatable member, each with aligned tie bar passages for receiving the one end of the tie bar. Both the stationary member and the rotatable member include respective engagement surfaces, with the rotatable member engagement surface being rotatable relative to the stationary member engagement surface between a released position and a tensioned position whereat the rotatable member is selectively lockable. The rotation of the rotatable member with the stationary engagement surface in engagement with the stationary engagement surface longitudinally displacing the rotatable member relative to the stationary member.

Device and method for bending pipes

A device for bending tubular workpieces includes a straight workpiece section that extends in a longitudinal direction and is held in a clamping device. A bending tool for bending the workpiece around a bending axis, running transversely to the longitudinal direction, has a radial part and a bending part. The radial part is rotatable about the bending axis. The bending part can be pivoted relative to the radial part for bending the workpiece about the bending axis. For rotatable driving, a radial driveshaft is coupled to the radial part, and a bending driveshaft is coupled to the bending part. To very flexibly create a plurality of different bends and to be able to use variable bend geometries, the radial driveshaft and the bending driveshaft extend in the longitudinal direction. The radial driveshaft and/or the bending driveshaft are designed as a hollow shaft, and one is arranged coaxially around the other.
