An expandable container system including a container, an expandable nipple and a one-way valve. The expandable nipple is attached to the first end of the container and the valve is attached to a second end of the container. A counteracting bias force is generated within the container and a first fluid is drawn in through the valve by extending the expandable nipple. When the expandable nipple is released, the expandable nipple is biased back to an unextended state, and an increase in pressure created by the counteracting bias force induces a second fluid to flow out of an outlet in the expandable nipple.

In some embodiments, the bottle assembly includes a vent assembly positionable at least in part on the rim of the container to permit venting of the container during use.

In some embodiments, the bottle assembly includes a vent assembly positionable at least in part on the rim of the container to permit venting of the container during use.

Described herein are inserts for reducing sloshing in a bottle. The insert may be integrally formed in an outer shell of the bottle or removably insertable into the outer shell. The insert may include an elongate body extending between a first end opposite a second end; and an aperture defined by the elongate body and extending longitudinally through the elongate body between the first and second ends. The elongate body has an uncompressed state when removed from an outer shell and a compressed state when positioned in the outer shell. A diameter of the elongate body in the compressed state is less than or equal to a smallest diameter of the liquid retention compartment. The insert has a durometer between about 40 A and about 70 A. A volume of the insert is less than about 10% of a volume defined by the outer shell. The insert includes a compressible mesh material.

The vent manifold defines a first aperture providing fluid communication between the container and the interior nipple volume, a second aperture providing fluid communication between the tube and the interior bulb volume, and a vent conduit providing fluid communication between the interior bulb volume and atmosphere.

The non-return valve includes a connection portion that is connected at the body, an extension portion for disturbing the laminar flow state of the internal liquid of the body when shaking the body, and a valve for allowing only the air outside to enter into the body, the extension portion is tapered and extends along a surface of the body toward the interior of the body, the extension portion is located at the inside of the bottom of the body, or located above the inside of the bottom of the body and in the vicinity of the inside of the bottom of the body. This design can solve the problem that the structure of the existing feeding bottle may cause flatulence to the baby due to the unbalanced pressure and may easily lead to incomplete dissolution of the milk powder.
